Steps to know the Score & Result For JEE MAIN 2021:

  1. The result of Paper 1 (B.E. / B. Tech.) of JEE Main 2021 is available. The actual marks secured by the candidates in Paper 1 and the status of those who are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2020, subject to satisfying other eligibility criteria, will be available in JEE Main 2020 Result. All India Rank and All India Category Rank will also be available on the result.
  2. CSAB will use only AIR of the candidates for offering admissions whereas other ranks will be just for information.
  3. Candidates will not be sent any form of offline result. The authorities will not contact the qualifying candidates regarding the result. Candidates are advised to carefully check the result and should download it from the official website only.
  4. In case there is a tie between any two candidates, inter-se-merit rules, as declared in the prospectus, will be applicable to break the tie and decide the rank.

How to Challenge the Answer Keys of JEE Main Exam?

  1. The images of Response Sheets (OMR Sheets) and answer keys of Online (Computer Based) Examination is available on 17 January 2020. The candidates have the provision to challenge the recorded response and the answer keys declared by the conducting authority. Furthermore, the candidate will have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs. 1,000/- per question to inquire about the answer. This payment can be done through Credit Card / Debit Card / E-Challan. The decision of JAB / NTA will be final on challenges and there will be no communication on the same.
  2. The institutions not participating in Centralized Seat Allocation Procedure will prepare their own rank list of the candidates. The list will be based on the performance of candidates in JEE Main 2020 and their other selection criteria.

After the result declaration, the data goes to the concerned state government Institute or SEAT ALLOCATION BOARD for Seat Allotment Process and admission procedure.

The Secretariat (JEE Main) does not collect the information regarding the availability of seats in the institutions and reservation criteria followed by the institutions.

How much score is good in JEE Main?

There are 14 lakh students who give the exam - JEE Mains. Out of that, about 1.45–1.5 lakh students qualify for JEE Advanced by getting the qualifying marks from their category. 75,000 GENERAL Category students qualify for JEE Advanced, after getting 110+ marks. Many of these would get 300+,250+,200+,150+.

Is it necessary to give all subjects in JEE 2020?

Improvement for all subjects - If an aspirant appears for improvement in all subjects in 2020, then the better of both the years will be considered. Improvement in one or more subject - If the candidate appears for improvement in 2020, then the top 20 percentile of 2019 will be taken into account.

Is 120 a good score in JEE mains?

How good are 120 marks in JEE mains exams? For General category student's- 120 is not good marks, they will not get the desired branch in home state Nit. For Obc- it is a satisfying score, they can get a middle type branch in home state Nit. Bdw it also depends on Cutoff and no. of OBC candidate performed well.

Is 12th marks important for JEE mains?
