Assam CEE Counselling 2023 Updates

1. The first seat allotment for Assam CEE 2023 was released on July 19, 2023.
2. Accepted candidates have until July 23, 2023, to confirm their admission.
3. Reporting to the allotted colleges for document verification is scheduled from July 21, 2023, to July 26, 2023.
4. The second seat allotment will be released on July 27, 2023.
5. The counselling process will continue till all the seats are filled up.
6. The Assam CEE 2023 Counselling process is being conducted online by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam.
7. Students who have qualified the Assam CEE 2023 are required to participate in the counselling process in order to secure a seat in an engineering college in Assam.
8. The counselling process will involve a choice-filling round, followed by a seat allotment round.
9. The cut-off marks for admission to different engineering colleges in Assam will be released after the first seat allotment.
10. Students who are not satisfied with their first seat allotment will have the opportunity to participate in the second seat allotment round.

Document Verification for Assam CEE Counselling 2023

At the time of counselling, applicants will have to carry the documents (original & photocopy) for the verification. They will have to carry the duly-filled counselling application form, institution choice filling form and admission record sheet at the time counselling process. Candidates must ensure that all the photocopies bear the signature of the candidate.

Assam CEE Counselling Process 2023

The candidates will have to follow the below steps to appear for Assam Common Entrance Exam counselling:

• Payment of Counselling fee

After Assam CEE 2023 result will be declared, ASTU will release the notification for the counselling process on the official website. Qualified candidates have to appear for the choice of college, branch and document verification process at the given date and time. Those who will be called for counselling will have to pay the counselling fee in cash only i.e. Rs.700/-. 

• Documents Verification

After the counselling fee payment, candidates will have to report the allotted college at the given date and time. Candidates must carry the allotment letter issued at the time of counselling, original documents and admission fee as per the college.

Candidates will be allotted seats after the documentation and counselling round. Seats will be alloted to based on their preference of college. If any seat will remain vacant during 1st round of counselling then the remaining seats will be filled in further rounds.
