Assam Combined Entrance Examination 2023 (Assam CEE 2023) allotment result

Shortlisted candidates must take the following steps:

1. Accept the Seat and Upload Documents: From July 20 to July 23, 2023, candidates who have been allotted seats must accept the seat and upload the necessary documents on the official website.
2. Verification of Original Documents: Shortlisted candidates must report to their respective institutes between July 21 and July 26, 2023, for the verification of original documents.
3. Importance of Accepting the Allotted Seat: Candidates must accept the seat they are allotted during the counselling process. Failure to do so will result in rejection from the entire counselling process, as stated on the CEE website.
4. Participation in Further Rounds: Candidates can participate in further rounds of counselling for a better preference. If a candidate chooses to participate in the next round of counselling for an upgrade or better-preferred choice of institute and branch based on their online choice filling, they may be assigned to new, better-preferred choices based on their input, rank, and vacancy position. In such cases, their previous allotment will be automatically canceled.
5. Freezing the Seat Allotment: Candidates also have the option to freeze their seat allotment. By doing so, a selected candidate indicates that they do not wish to participate in the next rounds of counselling for an upgrade and they accept the current allotment. Their name will be removed from further rounds of counselling.
6. Rejecting the Seat Allotment: If a candidate chooses the "reject" option, they will not be allowed to participate in the next round of counselling, and they will be automatically rejected from the entire counselling process.
7. Uploading Acceptance Letter: After accepting the allotment, candidates must upload the acceptance letter, which will be available on the portal.

Assam CEE 2023 Cut Off Marks

Cut off for Assam CEE 2023 will be released by the official conducting authority after few days from the declaration of result of Assam CEE 2023. Officail Authority for Assam CEE 2023 will release the category wise cut off list for shortlisting the candidates who had appeared for Assam CEE 2023 exam, for admission procedure. Assam CEE Tie-Breaking Rule 2023

In case of two or more candidates will have the same marks then, the following criteria will be considered to decide the rank of the candidates:

• The avg. marks secured by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the 12th class will be considered. A candidate with higher marks will be given a higher rank.
• If there is still a tie, then the marks secured by the candidates in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths will be considered, & one who will have more marks will be given priority.
• If the tie is still not broken, then the Chairman of the Selection Committee will decide the tie-breaking method.

Assam CEE Counseling 2023

The counselling process for Assam CEE 2023 will be conducted in various listed rounds as per the availability of seats after each rounds of counselling is done. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their rank in the merit list .
