ICAI inter, final May session result declared; check group-wise pass percentage

• The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA Intermediate and CA Final exams held in May 2023.
• A total of 4,014 candidates have qualified the CA Intermediate exam, while 2,152 candidates have successfully cleared the CA Final exam.
• The pass percentage for both groups in the CA Intermediate result is 10.24%, and for both groups in the CA Final result, it is 8.33%.
• To check the results, candidates can visit the official website of ICAI at icai.nic.in and enter their registration number and roll number.
• The results for the CA Foundation exams will be declared later, expected to be in the last week of July.
• In order to be considered qualified in the CA Final exam, candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% overall aggregate marks.
• The CA Intermediate Group 1 exam took place from May 3 to May 10, while the CA Intermediate Group 2 exam was conducted between May 12 and 18.
• The CA Final exams were held from May 2 to May 9 for Group 1 and from May 11 to May 17 for Group 2.

CA Final 2023 Merit List – Out

The merit list / rank certificate is issued up to the 50th rank on an All India basis. Candidates can download it online from the ICAI website, also, it is dispatched to the concerned Regional Offices for further distribution to the candidates. CA Final merit list / rank certificate is issued to only those candidates who fulfill the criteria as provided below.

• Should have passed examination in one sitting.
• Should not have availed of any exemption in any paper.
• Should have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
