Candidates who need to appear in GAT-B test 2021 must fulfil all the eligibility criteria as per Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB). If any candidate fails to fulfil the eligibility criteria, then his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled at any stage of the exam or he/she cannot appear in the further admission process. Animal Biotechnology||Candidates must have B.V.Sc. & A.H. or equivalent degree from any recognized university with at least CGPA of 2.60 in 4.00 scale or 6.60 in 10.00 scale or must have secured at least 60% marks in the traditional system. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST) must have secured at least 2.20 in 4.00 scale, 5.60 in 10.00 scale and 50% marks.|
|M.Tech Biotechnology||Candidates must have passed B.Tech/BE degree in the relevant stream with the minimum marks set by the participating university.|
|M.Sc. Allied Areas/Agricultural Biotechnology||Applicants with BSc. in the respective stream with the minimum marks as per the participating university.|
Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), i.e. the exam conducting authority is supposed to release the GAT B application form 2021 in the first week of June in online mode. All the candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam if any point seems to be missed that he/she must not fill the form. Regional Centre for Biotechnology has released a proper exam pattern for Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2021 exam. The entrance test will be conducted in Online mode, i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT) with a duration of 180 minutes. Candidates can take admission in a total of 1191 seats through the exam across the participating universities in 62 courses. As per the GAT-B 2021 exam pattern, question paper is mainly divided into two parts, Part A has 60 compulsory, MCQ questions with a class 12 level questions of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Part B has MCQ questions of bachelor’s level of education. There were questions from basic Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and allied areas as per syllabus attached. There were 100 questions out of which the candidates will have to attempt 60 questions.

GAT-Biotechnology Entrance Exam 2021 syllabus has been released by the exam body alongside the advertisement of the GAT-B 2021. Conducting official authority will release Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology 2021 result in the form of the scores, ranks and merit list tentatively in the second week of September 2021. GAT-B result will be declared in the form of merit ranks.
