Goa ITI Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the basic eligibility requirements for the Goa ITI 2022 admission:

Age Criteria:

• Candidates must be 14 years old or older as of July 1, 2022 to be considered for ITI admission.
• Those who are at least 18 years old on July 1, 2022, will be eligible for admission to the Driver/Mechanic trade.

Domicile:

A candidate for admission to the university must have lived in Goa for at least 10 years prior to the application deadline.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidate must have finished any Advanced Modules in Hospitality Management course for 6-Months In-Plant Specialized Training in Hospitality Management and Driver Cum Mechanic (LMV) skills.
• Those who have passed their class 8th examination are eligible to apply for the 1-year Garment and Sales Assist trade.
• For 1-year trades such as Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Desk Top Publishing Operator, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Secretarial Practice (English), Basic Cosmetology, Food Production (General), Food & Beverage Service Assistant, Sewing Technology, Multimedia, Animation & Special Effects, Housekeeper, Front Office Assistant, Travel and Tourism Assistant, and Digital Photographer, a pass in class 10th examination or its equivalent from a recognised board
• Applicants must have passed their 10th class 10th test or its equivalent from a recognised board with Science and Mathematics for the 1-year Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance programme.
• Those who have completed a BBBT in Hospitality OR NTC/ NAC in a relevant trade OR a Diploma in Hospitality can apply for the 2-year Hospitality Management Advanced Modules.

• Applicants who have passed their class 8th exam are qualified for the 1-year Welder (Fabrication & Fitting) trade.
• A pass in class 8th test with Science and Mathematics topics is essential for the 1-year Welder (GMAW & GTAW) trade.
• Candidates for the 1-year Welder and Carpenter trades must have passed their class 10th or equivalent test from a recognised board.
• Those who have passed the class 10th examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with Mathematics and Science courses are eligible to apply for the 1-year Mechanic Diesel and Solar Technician (Electrical) trades.
• Applicants for the 2-year Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioner, Electronics Mechanic, and Wireman trades must have passed a recognised board's class 10th examination or its equivalent.
• A pass in class 10th examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with Science and Mathematics is required for 2-year Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Draughtsman (Civil), Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), and Instrument Mechanic trades.

Physical Fitness:

• Candidates must be physically capable of doing the tasks for which they are being taught.
• Candidates must submit a Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner if they are chosen.

Goa ITI Admissions 2022 Merit List

• On the basis of the applications submitted by the various ITIs, a merit list of candidates will be created.
• Separate lists will be generated for trades that need a minimum of a class 8th and a class 10th.
• A provisional merit list will be posted in all government and private ITIs, as well as on the Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship's official website.
• Candidates should review the list and contact the ITI where their application was submitted if they have any concerns.
• A final merit list will be compiled and posted, taking into account any discrepancies highlighted by any of the candidates.

Goa ITI Admissions 2022 Selection Process

• Candidates will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, based on their merit and choice.
• Shortlisted candidates should report to the Centralized Admission Center according to the schedule notified by the authorities.
• The reporting applicants should bring all essential documents, including original and photocopies.
• After all of the requirements, such as document submission and fee payment, the candidates will be chosen.
