NEET UG 2023 Counselling schedule is yet to be released by NTA. Candidates who will be eligible for this round are required to complete the registration process via the official website. Candidates can check the revised seat allotment list from the link given in this article. The allotment letter is released under the candidate's login. Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services will conduct the counselling for NEET-UG 2022. Under 15% All India Quota, a list of successful applicants will be sent to the Medical Examination cell for the allotment of seats by Online Counselling. For other than 15% All India Quota, based on All India Merit List and Cutoff, authorities will prepare a merit list for the counselling process. 

NEET UG Counselling 2023: Round 2 choice-filling ends today; newly added MBBS seats

NEET UG Counselling 2023: MCC notice allowing change of nationality from Indian to NRI

  • The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has initiated the registration process for NEET UG 2023 counselling for round 1 All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
  • Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET 2023 and attained the minimum cut-off marks can apply online for 15% AIQ seats in MBBS, BDS, and other UG medical courses. The registration link is available at mcc.nic.in.
  • The last date for online application and payment of counselling fees for round one MCC counselling is July 25.
  • The NEET UG 2023 counselling process consists of several steps, including registration, fee payment, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment processing, result declaration, and reporting.
  • The 15% AIQ counselling includes seats at government colleges, central and deemed universities, seats reserved for children of Insured Persons (IP quota) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges, and seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune.
  • This year, MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling, namely Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a stray vacancy round.
  • All processes, including registration, choice filling, and document uploading, will be carried out online through the MCC portal.
  • The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice on its official website regarding NEET UG 2023 counselling for candidates who wish to convert their status from Indian to NRI.

  • Candidates are advised to follow the instructions provided by the MCC and submit all the required documents within the specified timeframe for the category conversion process.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling

  • The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened a portal for the generation of PwD (Persons with Disabilities) certificates for NEET UG 2023.
  • PwD candidates who registered under the PwD quota in the NEET UG 2023 application form need to obtain a PwD certificate through designated disability screening centers.
  • The disability screening centers will conduct a physical examination and assess the extent of disability for PwD candidates.
  • The PwD certificate can be generated online through the designated centers and must be submitted through the MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
  • Only the certificate generated through the MCC portal in online mode will be accepted during the admission process.
  • All candidates, regardless of whether they have qualified NEET UG 2023 based on the cutoff percentile, can obtain the online certificate from the designated centers.
  • The MCC emphasizes that no other certificate, apart from the one generated through the MCC portal, will be accepted during admission.

Documents required for NEET-UG 2023 Counselling

Candidates have to bring the following documents for the NEET UG 2023 Counselling along with them for the verification:

NEET UG 2022 Counselling Procedure

1. Registration

 To participate in the online NEET-UG 2022 counselling process the candidates have to register themselves on the website of Medical Counselling Committee.

2. Choice Filling

After the registration process, a password will be generated for NEET-UG 2022 Counselling login. Then candidates have to fill the choices to lock the choices of the college and courses as per their preferences. Candidates can lock as many choices as they want and then a take a print of it for further process. Based on the choices and merit list prepared, MCC will allot the seats to the candidate.

3. Fee Payment

After the choice filling candidate has to pay the fee at the time of counselling. Given below is the Fee to be submitted in detail:

4. Seat Allotment

After the completion of the above process,  MCC will release the result for seat allotment. Candidates can check the result of seat allotment from the website of MCC. Qualified candidates will receive the counselling letter in their login. According to the allotment, letter candidates have to report to the venue as mentioned on. Candidates have to bring the above mention documents to the centre for verification.

5. Second Round of Counselling

Applicants who will not be selected in the first round of counselling they can apply for the second round of counselling.  Candidates have to log in using User ID and password to apply. Candidates are not required to register or pay the fee again they can use their old User ID to apply.
