Manipur HSE Improvement Examination Schedule Out at cohsem.nic.in; Exams from September 4:
- The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) has released the improvement examination schedule for Class 12.
- Students who have failed in one or two subjects or wish to enhance their Class 12 marks can access the schedule on the official website, cohsem.nic.in.
- The COHSEM has scheduled the Class 12 improvement exams for theory subjects to commence from September 4. Practical improvement exams will begin from September 6.
- The theoretical exams for Class 12 will have a duration of three hours, starting at 10 am and concluding at 1 pm.
- The practical examinations will also commence at 10 am.
- The Manipur board improvement result for 2023 is anticipated to be announced in September 2023.
- The COHSEM communicated the improvement exam schedule to the respective principals and institution heads to ensure compliance with the prescribed dates and timings.
- The Manipur Class 12 result for 2023 was declared on May 22, 2023.
- The Class 12 board exams in Manipur were conducted from February 23 to April 1, 2023.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur was established in the year 1992 under the provisions of the Manipur Higher Secondary Act, 1992 ( Manipur Act 4 of 1992). Prior to the establishment of the Council, the +2 courses in the state were conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur as Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate course in the Higher Secondary Schools and Pre-University course by the Manipur University in the College.
But, with the establishment of the Council the +2 courses of the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur and Manipur University were taken over and amalgamated into Higher Secondary course under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur. The Council conducted the Higher Secondary Examination, 1993 as its first public examination in the state.
