GVSAT 2020: Gyan Vihar Scholastic Aptitude Test (GVSAT) is conducted by Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) every year as the admission test for various undergraduate programs. The Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) Jaipur has been established by the Government of Rajasthan vide Act. GVSAT exam will be conducted online as well as offline among 38 cities across the country. The question paper is comprised of 4 parts i.e. Physics/Biology, English proficiency, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidate should hold 10+2 or equivalent examination to appear in the qualifying test. The SGVU offers Undergraduate Degree programs in various domains such as Management, Engineering, Pharmacy, Education, Sciences and Hotel Management. And, GVSAT is for Admission in B.Tech program at Suresh Gyan Vihar University. GVSAT 2020 is held for granting admission to University. GVSAT 2020 Admission Notification

- The SGVU has released the Notification regarding GVSAT 2020.
- And, the interested candidates can fill the application form on or before 01 May 2020 and with late fee before 14 May 2020.
- Whereas, Information booklet will be released after January 2020. Along with Information Brochure, the admission notification will be published.
GVSAT 2020 Exam Dates
The GVSAT will be held in an Online and Offline mode both. The dates for the exam are in June 2020. The result declaration will be done in June 2020 for both the modes. These are not official dates. Candidates should keep them as a reference while filling the application form. The GVSAT 2020 Important dates are given in the table as follows:

GVSAT Application Process
The Gyan Vihar Scholastic Aptitude Test application form can be accessed through both online or offline mode.
Online Application
Firstly, interested candidates must register themselves at GVSAT website. Then, click on “Apply Online” button and follow the given steps. The candidate needs to fill the following details on the application form:
- Candidate’s Full name
- Father’s Name
- Mobile Number
- E-mail id
- Then, a system-generated email will be sent to the e-mail id entered by the candidate. Also, this email id will be the username for future login by the candidate.
- Further, the candidate will receive a unique 6 digit password and other important instructions on their respective email id.
- Finally, the candidate needs to select the program of his/her choice and click on the ‘Submit’ button to proceed to the next page to complete the application.
Guidelines for Online Application Form
- Firstly, the Online application form must be complete in all respect. Also, the University will reject an incomplete application.
- The applicant cannot change any details at a later stage.
- The candidate must ensure that their name, parent’s / guardian’s name and date of birth should be the same as given in High School / 10+2 / Intermediate certificate.
- Also, the candidates must retain a copy of the Application form for future reference.
- Applicants must sign the Application form before mailing the application form.
- Also, upload a recent passport size scanned photograph taken on or after 1 December 2020 in .jpeg format.
- Finally, note down the application number for future reference.
Offline Application Process
- Firstly, the candidate can download the Application Form from the GVSAT website or can obtain the same from the University campus or different form centres across India.
- Further, candidates must send the filled application form to the following address by Speed Post/Registered Post.

Guidelines for Offline Application
- The applicant must fill out the application form in his/her handwriting in BLOCK letters only.
- Also, note that candidate’s name, parent’s or guardian’s name and DOB should be the same as in their High School / 10+2 / Intermediate certificate.
- And, the application form must be complete in all respect.
- An incomplete application or an application form filled in a language other than English will not be processed under any circumstances.
- The details entered in the application form cannot be edited at a later stage.
- Finally, the candidates must retain a copy of the Application form for future use.

GVSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for candidates for B.Tech program is as follows:

2. | Citizenship/Residential Criteria | There is no particular Nationality or residential criteria required. |
3. | Academic Qualification | A student must either appear for 10+2 board from a recognised board in the year 2020 or have passed 10+2 with the minimum aggregate marks. |
For B.Tech/Dual Degree Aspirants-
- A candidate must secure at least 60% in his or her Class 12th level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
- If a candidate wishes to apply with his or her JEE Main marks for admissions to this University, he or she must secure a valid score as specified by the University.
For M.Tech Aspirants –
- He or she must have got at least 60% in his or her B.Tech level of studies.
- For M.Tech Geoinformatics, a candidate should have passed B.Tech or M.Sc. in a related stream with 60% of marks and For M.Tech Digital & Wireless Communication Engineering, a candidate must have passed his or her B.Tech or M.Sc. (Physics) with 60% of marks in aggregate.
- M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering – A candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% of marks in average in his or her B.Tech/M.sc/MCA(graduation) level from a recognized University.
- If a candidate wishes to apply with his or her GATE marks for admissions to this University, he or she must secure a valid score as specified by the University.
GVSAT 2020 Admit Card
- Firstly, The registered candidates can download the admit card of GVSAT from the University website itself.
- Moreover, the admit card will be available from 18 April 2020.
- However, the university will not send the hard copy of the admit card at the candidate’s address by post.
- Also, every candidate should carry the admit card to the examination venue.
- Without it, he or she will not be allowed to write the exam.
- Also, he or she should preferably carry an ID proof along with admitting card to the examination centre.
GVSAT 2020 Syllabus & Paper Pattern
- GVSAT 2020 syllabus will be following the NCERT syllabus for standard XI and XII.
- Also, The detailed syllabus is available on the official website of GVSAT.
- Further, Candidates can also refer to NCERT textbooks for the contents.
- And, A sample test will be made available to the registered applicants on the GVSAT website for practice purpose.
The Paper pattern of GVSAT 2020 is as follows:
- The questions will be the Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Also, each question will have four options with only one correct answer.
- There will be a total of 75 Questions.
- Moreover, the exam duration will 120 minutes.

GVSAT 2020 Result & Counselling
Firstly, the result of GVSAT 2020 will be published on 01 June 2020 on the SGVU official portal.
And, the result date will be the same for both online and offline examination.
Further, the university will release the dates for counselling soon after the result declaration.
Then, the SGVU will call the shortlisted candidates for the counselling process at the university campus.
Furthermore, there is provision for meritorious students who would be pursuing UG and PG programs.
Selected meritorious candidates will be eligible for the scholarship.
There is also a provision for a scholarship to financially weaker students.
Selection of candidates, who will be eligible for scholarships, will be done based on marks obtained in GVSAT and a personal interview.
