AIMA MAT Eligibility Criteria 2022: Minimum Qualification, Age Limit, Reservation Criteria

AIMA MAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 is set by the conducting authority which is the All India Management Association. AIMA MAT eligibility criteria is important for the students willing to appear for the MAT exam. AIMA MAT exam is compulsory for the candidates who are willing to pursue management courses (MBA) from the reputed b-schools in India. The candidates have to fulfill certain eligibility criteria in order to fill the AIMA form. Since 3 courses are offered such as PGDM, PGDITM and  PGCM, candidates must check the eligibility requirement accordingly. It is important for the candidates to clear the eligibility criteria otherwise they will not move further in the admission process. 

AIMA MAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria as per the courses they are applying for:

Academic Qualification Course Wise

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
  • Graduation in any stream from a recognized University.
  •  Followed by a Personal/Telephonic Interview round.
  • Post Graduate Diploma In Information Technology Management (PGDITM)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University. 
  • Followed by Personal/Telephonic Interview round with AIMA Panel members.
  • Interview qualified students need to submit their fee of Rs. 25,500 (via DD) in favor of All India Management Association, Payable at New Delhi in next 10-15  days after the declaration of their result.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM)
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or 3 years’ diploma after 10+2 (equivalent to graduation in any discipline) from an institution, recognised by AICTE
  • Candidates having other professional courses like MBA, MFS,CA, CS, ICWA etc. can pursue the PGCM programme concurrently and seek lateral entry.

Marks In Qualifying Marks

  • At least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in graduation
  • For reserved categories i.e. SC, ST, and PwD, candidates need to have a minimum of 45% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the bachelor's degree final result

Age Relaxation

  • There is no age limit for the MAT 2022 exam. Candidates of any age can apply keeping in mind the eligibility requirement as per the course. SO there is no upper or lower age limit for the candidates to sit in the exam. 
  • Candidates with no work experience can also apply. 

 Category Reservation

All India Management Association has set forth the category reservation. There is relaxation in the evaluation of the total score gain in exam as per the category.

Number of Attempts

There are no such restrictions on the no. of attempts. Candidates can apply as many times they want. But it is advised to clear the exam at once. 

AIMA MAT 2022 Application Form 

MAT Application Form 2022 will be available online for CBT and PBT exams. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official site. One needs to enter the educational, personal, communication etc information while filling the AIMA MAT Application Form 2022.
