DBT JRF 2023 Application Form Dates

Before filling out the application form for DBT JRF 2023 candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria for DBT JRF 2023.

DBT JRF 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification- The candidate must have done Post graduation in Biotechnology or B.Tech/BE in biotechnology.

• M.Sc / M.Tech / M.V.Sc or equivalent degree / Integrated BS-MS / B.Tech in any discipline of Biotechnology
• M.Sc. / M.Tech Bio-informatics / Computational Biology
• Students admitted under DBT supported Postgraduate Teaching Programs M.Sc Life Science/ Bioscience/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Bio-physics.

DBT JRF 2023 Application Form 

Department of Biotechnology will release the DBT JRF 2023 Application form. Candidates can fill out the application form only through online mode.

• The candidate must check the eligibility criteria for the exam before applying.
• The application form has to be filled out and submitted only through Online mode.
• The candidate has to upload the documents as prescribed by the authority.
• The applicant also has to pay the application fee to submit the application form.
• The candidate must take a print of the application form for further process.

Documents Required for DBT JRF 2023

The following documents will be needed by the candidates while filling out the application form.

• Latest Qualifying mark sheet
• PWD certificate
• Date of Birth
• Category certificate
• Valid Mobile number and email id.

How to apply for DBT JRF 2023?

Step 1: Registration   

Candidates have to first register themselves on the portal. For this, they need to have a valid mobile number and email address for registration. 

• Visit the official website of DBT JRF 2023.
• Click on the link "new registration".
• Now the candidate has to register by filling in the basic details.

Step 2:  Filling the Application form

After the registration candidate has to fill the application form by filling the Personal and educational field:

• Name 
• Gender
• Date of Birth 
• Parental Details 
• Address
• Martial Status
• Category 
• Nationality 

• Qualifying Exam and Respective Subject
• Passed or Appearing
• University Name
• Percentage
• Date of Passing

Step 3: Uploading of Documents

After completion of the entries, candidates have to upload the documents in the prescribed format of JPG. Candidates have to upload the following documents.

Step 4: Choosing the Test Centre

Candidates have to then choose the most profitable Test centre for the exam. They can choose the top 3 test centres according to their priority.

Step 5: Paying the Application Fees

After choosing the test center finally, the candidates have to pay the application fees mentioned category-wise. The fees will be non-refundable once paid.

Step 6: Submit and take the Print Out

After completion of the above steps, the candidate has to submit the application form and take a printout of it for future references.

DBT JRF 2023 Application form Correction

The Conducting body of DBT JRF provides candidates with the facility of Application form correction so that if in case candidates have entered wrong details or information can be corrected. It is important to note that candidates should correct their form once the dates for the Application form are released by the Candidates. For opening the application form the candidates have to log in with the same ID and password generated at the time of registration.

DBT JRF 2023 Admit Card 

The Department of Biotechnology will release the DBT JRF Admit card 2023 in 10 days before the exam. Candidates can download the admit card through Online mode. To download the admit card the candidates need to enter their login ID and password. The candidates must then take the printout of the admit card and keep it safely till the admission process ends.
