DBT JRF 2027 is an acronym for the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), which is part of India's Ministry of Science and Technology. The test is open to anyone interested in applying for a Junior Research Fellowship in Biotechnology. Many candidates hope to pursue professions in biotechnology research and are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to take the entrance exam. The DBT JRF 2027 admissions test will be useful in determining who is eligible. Candidates before filling out the application form must look into the eligibility criteria to know whether they are eligible to sit for the exam or not. Eligibility Criteria for DBT JRF 2027

Age Limit

As of March 22, 2022, the candidate's age must not exceed 28 years. Those in the SC/ST/Differently Abled/Women categories, however, will be granted a 5-year age relaxation. Candidates from the OBC category will be given a 30-year age relaxation.

Educational Qualification

Any of the following degrees must be held by the candidate: M.Sc./ M.Tech/ M.V.Sc./ Integrated BS-MS/ B.E/ B.Tech in any Biotechnology discipline/ M.Sc./ M.Tech (Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Life Science/ Bioscience/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biophysics).

Marks Required

Candidates must have received at least 60% in their qualifying degree test, whereas SC/ ST/ differently-abled candidates must have received at least 55%.

NOTE: Candidates who will take the qualifying test in the year 2022 are also eligible to apply.

Exam Format for DBT JRF 2027

Mode: The exam will be conducted entirely online.
Total Sections: Part A and Part B 
Question Types: Objective questions.
Total Marks: The paper will contain 100 questions. (each part has 50 questions)
Medium: English.
Duration:  3 hours
Marking Criteria: Each question will be worth three points.

Syllabus for DBT JRF 2027

Candidates must prepare properly in order to achieve good results. To prepare properly, applicants should review the exam pattern as well as the syllabus, which will provide them with a general understanding of the marking scheme, sorts of questions, and areas on which they should focus more, among other things. Admit Card for DBT JRF 2027

  • Go to http://www.bcil.nic.in, which is the official website. to obtain the admit card.
  • By entering their application ID and password, those who have submitted their application form and application fee will be able to retrieve their admit card.
  • Make a printout of the admissions card for future reference. The printed copy of the admit card, as well as a valid photo ID, must be brought to the exam hall.
  • Without an admit card, no candidate is allowed to enter the examination venue.
  • Keep your admit card in a secure place until the admissions process is completed.
