• The candidates can check the result by logging in through ID and Password.
• Result will show the qualifying status of the candidates in two different categories.
• There will be no request for rechecking of result shall be entertained.
• Candidates can take the printout of the scorecard for future references.

How to Download DBT JRF Result 2027?

Following steps can be followed in order to Download DBT JRF Result 2027.

•  Navigate to the official website and click on result.
• The pdf file will open containing the result in 2 Lists.
• Candidate can download the result pdf in your computer.
• After this they have to search for their name in the pdf  either in section 1 or section 2 depending on the score.

How to retreive the password if lost?

The following steps can be taken if the password for the result is lost.

• On the same page, to download score card, click on Forgot Password button just below login.
• Now enter respective User ID and captcha code.
• Click to get password link.
• New password will be sent to the email id.

Cut Off for DBT JRF 2022

DBT will soon publish the BET Cut Off 2022 on their official website for both Category l and Category ll. The candidates can take a look at the Cut Off for the previous year.

DBT JRF Fellowship Activation

Candidates can activate fellowship after joining institute / university, within 2 years from date of issuance of DBT JRF 2027 Award Letter. The DBT JRF Fellowship will start from date of issuance of award letter, or date of joining institute/university, whichever comes later.

• Category I candidates can activate fellowhip on joining PhD.
• Category II candidates will be eligible for joining in DBT sponsored research projects with fellowship equivalent to NET / GATE as per existing DST guidelines, if they are selected through institutional selection process. They will not receive any fellowship from DBT JRF programme.

DBT JRF Selection Process 2027

The Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India selects the meritorious candidates upon some set selection criteria given below,

Firstly, two list are prepared i.e Category l and Category ll.

• Category I: Top 275
• Category I: Next 100 in merit list

• Candidates must have at least 60% marks (55% for SC / ST / PH) in qualifying exam.
• Candidates should be of maximum 28 years old (5 yrs relaxation for SC / ST / PH / VH / Females, 3 yrs for OBC NCL).

Document Verification Process after DBT JRF Result 2027

Soon after the declaration of DBT JRF Results 2022, the qualified candidates have to send the photocopy of the documents that will be verified. The documents has to be self attesed and sent to  HOD or a gazetted officer on DBT JRF program office. The following documents shall be sent at the earliest.

• Copy of BET Admit Card
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Final/ consolidated mark sheet of the qualifying degree
• Certificate of the qualifying degree
• SC/ST/PH Category Certificate
• For OBC candidates, non-creamy layer certificate 
• For EWS candidates, EWS certificate duly signed and stamped
• A Cover letter mentioning address for communication, phone/mobile number and email id.

Award Letter

• After all the documents are verified the award letter is issued to the candidates.
• The award letter will also be issued if they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as per the set norms.
• Final semester marksheet is also verified.
• If eligibility documents are not in order, then shortlisting can be revoked.
• The award letter will contain the details for the award won by the candidate in a particular category
