JET 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Qualification, Age Limit

JET 2021 Eligibility Criteria is specified by the Jain University to apply for UG and PG courses. The candidates must ensure the same before filling the form. The exams are conducted in different months for various programs. For PG programs, exams are usually conducted in January and for UG programs in April, every year.

JET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the JET 2021 Eligibility Criteria before starting the registration process. Check the given below points related to JET eligibility:

  • The candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria. If any candidate is found not to fulfil the criteria, their application form will be rejected straight forward.
  • JET-2020-Eligibility Criteria varies for all courses BTech, other Undergraduate Courses and Postgraduate courses.
  • The candidates must have minimum 60% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 55% for reserved categories for BTech and the same for other undergraduate courses but in any discipline.
  • For PG courses, the candidate must have completed at least 3 yrs. of their graduation and have a minimum mark of 50% for general candidates and 45% for the reserved category candidates.
  • There are various other educational qualifications which are considered as eligible for the JET-2021 examination. The candidates who are appearing presently from their examinations can also apply.
  • If the candidates have valid scores in any of the competitive exams then they may be exempted from JET-2021 and can directly appear for the group discussion and personal interview.

JET 2021 B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates will have to pass 12th examination from recognized government board with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as major subjects.
  • NIOS candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Diploma Holder candidates will also be eligible to apply for lateral entry admission.
Minimum Passing Marks

 

  • Applicants have to secure minimum 60% marks to be eligible for the exam in their respective examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as major subjects.

 

  • Candidates belonging to reserved category (SC and ST) should have 55% marks to be eligible for the exam.

 

  • International Baccalaureate students should get 30 credits to qualify for the course.

  • Cambridge students must study 2 or 3 subjects at 'A' Level (Advanced level)
Appearing

 

Candidates appearing in the last year of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Undergraduate Courses (Except B.Tech) Eligibility Criteria for JET Exam

  • Applicants have to secure minimum 50% marks to be eligible for the exam in their respective examination.

 

  • Candidates belonging to reserved category (SC and ST) should have 45% marks to be eligible for the exam.
Appearing 

 

Candidates appearing in the last year of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

 

NOTE: Candidates who have a valid CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, GATE and ATMA score will be exempted from the Jain Entrance Written Test and will be qualified directly for the Group Discussion / Personal Interview held afterwards.
