JET 2021 Exam Pattern: Paper Pattern, Marks Distribution

JET 2021 Exam Pattern is set by the Jain University. The candidates must know the pattern for better preparation to score good marks. JET is conducted once a year. The exams are conducted in different months for various programs. For PG programs, exams are usually conducted in January and for UG programs in April, every year.

JET 2021 Exam Pattern

The candidates should have a clear idea about the exam pattern of JET-2021 to score well and get into the prestigious University of Jain University for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various fields.
  • Exam Schedule- To be Announced
  • Mode of Exam - Computer-based test (CBT) as well as offline mode i.e. pen-paper based test (PBT)
  • Type of Question- The questions are of Multiple Choice (MCQs). Four options with a single correct answer will be provided for each question. Candidates have to darken the correct answer only in the OMR sheets carefully.
  • Medium- The examination is conducted in English medium. 
  • Duration- 03 hours i.e. 180 minutes 
  • Total Marks-The questions that are to be attempted by all the candidates are:
        • 120 marks for BTech applicants.
        • 100 marks for under-graduate and post-graduate candidates.
  • Marking Scheme- 4 marks are rewarded for every correct answer and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer for the examination. The candidate gets no marks for unanswered questions.
