JIPMER PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria has been released on the official website of conducting body Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research (JIPMER). It is a national level entrance examination which conducts twice a year to offer admission in MD/MS/MDS programmes. The entrance exam for the January session was conducted in the 1st week of December 2021, and for the July session, the exam will be conducted in the 3rd week of May 2022. JIPMER PG Nationality Criteria
Given mention are the nationality eligibility criteria for JIPMER PG 2022:
- MD/MS courses: Candidate must be an Indian National/Overseas Citizen of India(OCI)/Foreign National(FN)
- MDS courses: Candidate must be an Indian National or Overseas Citizen of India
Qualification Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER PG 2022
Mention below are the qualification eligibility criteria for JIPMER PG:
- MD or MS courses: Candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India
- MDS courses: Candidates must possess BDS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Dental Council of India
- Minimum qualify marks for General(UR)/OCI/EWSs/Sponsored/Foreign National/OBC category candidates is 55%.
- Candidates who belong to SC/ST category must have a minimum of 50% marks.
- For PWD candidates the minimum marks as provided for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
Internship Eligibility for JIPMER PG
Candidates must check the given below internship eligibility for JIPMER PG:
- Candidates must have completed 12 months compulsory rotating internship or practical training on or before 30 December 2022
- No condonation of Compulsory Rotating Internship beyond this date shall be accepted
NOTE: Candidates who have already done or completed their MS/MS/MDS in any subject from any institute are not eligible for admission to MD/MS/MDS.
