NIOS 12th Result 2024 Assessment Scheme
Last year, due to the coronavirus pandemic the board has been canceled the class 12th exam. However, for the cancelled papers, the students will be marked based on the assessment scheme as mentioned below:
- For students who have passed in the four subjects, the average marks for the best three subjects will be considered for subjects for which the exam could not be conducted.
- For those who have passed in three subjects, the average marks for the best two subjects will be considered for the subjects for which the exams have not been conducted.
- For students who passed in one or two subjects, the theory marks will be calculated based on the average performance in the theory of the last three public examinations in those subjects for which the learner was registered to appear in the exams.
- Lastly, for the first-time NIOS learners, their performance will be assessed based on Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) and/or Practical marks. The performance of the students will be calculated basis the last three public examinations in the subject for which the earner had to appear in the March-April 2024 NIOS exams.
