AIN PG WAT 2022 Exam Pattern: Syllabus, Marking Scheme, Important Topics

AIN PG WAT 2022 Exam Pattern is available here. Candidates who wish to appear for the AIN PG WAT 2022 examination must get themselves acquainted with the exam pattern of AIN PG WAT 2022 because it will assist them in understanding the type of questions, the difficulty of questions, and an overall idea about the examination. A four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme has been created at the AIN by the Indian Nursing Council in New Delhi. Apart from that, Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, Assam, offers a two-year M.Sc. nursing programme that leads to the award of a Master of Science in Nursing degree. For the above-mentioned courses, admission will be determined by the entrance exam.
AIN PG WAT 2022 Syllabus
B.Sc Entrance Exam Syllabus:
The admission test will have a general standard of 11th and 12th grade under the 10+2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate science or an equivalent State Education Board/Indian University/CBSE examination.
M.Sc. Entrance Exam Syllabus:
The entrance exam will be based on the Indian Nursing Council's specified syllabi for a B.Sc. Nursing programme.
There will be two parts to the question paper: Part A and Part B.
- Part A: General English, General Knowledge, Biological Sciences, Nursing Administration and Management, Research, and Statistics questions will be included.
- Part B: It consists of questions (10 points each) from the speciality disciplines of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, and Maternal Health Nursing.
AIN PG WAT 2022 Exam Pattern
- B.Sc Entrance Exam Pattern:
The AIN Guwahati entrance exam will be an Online Admission Test (OAT). Students shall apply directly to AIN, Guwahati, using the official website's Application Form. Students will be able to download their admit cards from the official website of AIN, Guwahati. There will be five subjects covered in the exam (namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and General Awareness).
- Time allotted for the exam: 2 hours
- Total number of multiple-choice questions (MCQ): 120
- Correct answers are worth 1 point
- Incorrect responses are worth 0.25 points.
Requests for re-assessment will not be considered under any circumstances because the entire examination is computerised.
- M.Sc. Entrance Exam Pattern:
Candidates will be admitted based on the results of an entrance examination held in Delhi (Code No–01) and Guwahati (Code No-02). The entrance exam will be administered entirely in English Medium only. The questions will be multiple-choice (MCQs)
- There are 100 questions in total. (PARTS A and B are both 50 questions)
- Total 100 marks
- The examination will last 90 minutes
- There will be no negative marking.

AIN PG WAT 2022 Marking Scheme
- Exam Mode: The authority conducts OAT (Online Admission Test), Which means the exam will be held online.
- Exam Duration: The paper will be of 2 hours duration.
- Questions Type: The question paper will have an overall of 120 Multiple Choice Question types or better acknowledged as objective questions.
- Exam Subjects: The Exam subject will be of five subjects (namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and General Awareness).
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will fetch one mark whereas incorrect answers will deduct 0.25 marks.
