NEST 2021 Registration Process has been ended on 15 July 2021. NEST 2021 Application Form window has opened on 24 February 2021. The Application form can be filled online only. Hence no other mode is accepted. National Entrance Screening is organized jointly by NISER Bhubaneswar & UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai once a year at the National level for the candidates who want to pursue their carrier in the field of Mater of Science. NEST 2021 Application Form

NEST 2021 registration forms is available online. Candidates must read the details given below to avoid any mistake while filling the form:

  • Candidates must apply online on the official website of the NEST exam only.
  • Candidates have to first register on the website by entering their name, valid email, a working mobile number and a password, Roll Number/Registration Number from the class X report card, etc.
  • Upload the scanned copy of photographs, signature, and other documents like category certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable).
  • The form is considered complete only when the Application fees will be submitted.
  • Complete all the processes to avoid rejection of the form.
  • Candidates must not use anybody else email.
  • Only one candidate can be registered with one email address.
  • Candidates must give their mobile number because all the information will also be sent via SMS.
  • Login Id & password will be sent on the candidate's mobile.
  • Candidates must use their Login Id with the password for all NEST 2020 related pieces of information.
  • It is advisable to keep the login ID and Password with safety for future uses.

Documents to be Uploaded while NEST 2021 Form filling

The applicants will have to upload the following documents while filling the National Entrance Screening Test Application Form:

  • Class 10th Marksheet/report card/certificate
  • Scanned image of Photographs
  • Scanned image of Signature
Note- The images should be in .jpeg or—jpg format of 80 kb.

How to Apply for NEST 2021?

Application forms for NEST 2021 would be filled through online mode only. Applications sent through any other mode would be rejected straight away. Candidates need to check the below steps for filling the online application form:

1- Registration 

On clicking the " Online Application" tab, the applicants will be redirected to the page wherein the applicants will have to fill in the following details:

  • Applicant Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Roll Number/Registration Number of class X
  • Gender
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Captcha

After filling in all the details, click on Register. The User ID & Password will be sent on the applicant's mobile number. An email will be sent having a link for the login page & Login credentials.

2 - Candidate Login

The applicants will have to log in with the login credentials, i.e., User Name & Password.

 3- Filling of Details After logging in, the applicants will have to fill in the details:
  • Exam City Preferences
  • Educational Qualification details.
 4- Uploading of documents

The applicants will need to upload the scanned images of the documents asked.

  • Class 10th mark sheet
  • Scanned images of photo and signature documents

 5- Fee Payment

Lastly, the form will be completed on making the fee payment.
  • The  Application fees for General and Other Backward category candidates is Rs 1200/-.
  • For SC/ST/PwD categories and all-female candidates, the fee is Rs 600/-.
  • The Application fees can be deposited by using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • Also, candidates must know that fees once paid will not be refunded in any case.
  • The fee for the NEST 2020 Application form will be accepted online only.

A summary page of the Application form will be created with all the details, and This will complete the Application submission process.

NEST 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil all the NEST eligibility criteria given below to be able to appear for the entrance exam. 

  1. Age limit:- An applicant should be born on or after 01 August 2000. SC / ST / PwD category candidates will get 5 years of relaxation.
  2. Education:- Candidate should have passed the class 12 exam in either 2019 or 2020 or passing in 2021. If the class 12 board from which the candidate is passing gives a letter grade, then he/she will have to get a certificate from the board that tells equivalent percentage marks.
  3. Marks in QE:- Once should have at least 60% in aggregate in class 12. SC / ST / PwD candidates need 55%.

NEST 2021 Admit Card

NEST 2021 Admit Card can only be downloaded from the official website. It will not be dispatched to the candidates individually through post/ courier. Admit card act as a student verification at the exam centre; hence it is mandatory to carry to the test centre.
