• While filling the application form candidates must ensure to fill the RC code/ PSC code of only those regional centres where PSCs (Program Study Centres) for Post Basic Nursing are activated.

Registration

• Firstly, candidates have to register themselves by clicking on the “NEW REGISTRATION” button appears on the applicant login area and fill the required registration details.
• Fill in the Username and Password correctly.
• After filling all the required details click on the “SUBMIT” button.

IGNOU B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For securing admission in Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from IGNOU must fulfil the below-given eligibility criteria:

• Passed 10+2 with 3 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least 2 years of working experience (after registration as RNRM). OR
• Passed 10^th standard or its equivalent with 3 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least 5 years of working experience (after registration as RNRM).
• Male candidates without midwifery in the GNM programme should possess a certificate in any of the Nursing courses of 6-9 months duration.
• Candidates should be Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM).
• Age Limit – There is no age bar for admission in IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme.

IGNOU B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2024 Selection Procedure

Based on the marks obtained in the OPENNET exam merit list will be prepared for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and will be displayed at the official website of IGNOU.

• Admission will be offered after the verification of all the certificates and candidates are required to deposit the programme fee (non-refundable).
• As per merit rank and availability of seats Programme Study Centre (PSC) will be allotted to the candidates.

IGNOU B.Sc. Nursing Result and Counselling 2024

After the completion of the entrance test, the result of the entrance examination is declared in mid of October/ November and will be uploaded on the official website of IGNOU (www.ignou.ac.in). Notification about the next round of admission process i.e. counselling will also communicate through the website only.
