AP PGECET 2020 or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance 2020 exam date will be announced by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is State-level examination for candidates pursuing courses of engineering, pharmacy and planning for post-graduation of Andhra Pradesh state, as each and every state has its state exams for different courses or fields. AP PGECET is conducted in May every year, and also the result for the same is released in May every year. Candidates need to qualify AP PGECET 2020 in order to get admission in post-graduation in the above-mentioned courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP PGECET 2020 Application Form

The application form will be released by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. The Online application forms will be available for postgraduate admission in engineering courses from the first week of March 2020. And graduate students can apply through the official website until the third week of April 2020. Also, notification for the same has been released before application form.

Mode of Payment: The Application fee can be paid either Online or Offline.

    • For Online Payment: Credit Card /Debit Card /Net-banking.
    • For Offline Payment: Different AP Online centres across Andhra Pradesh. Applicant must not forget to take the fee receipt after payment.

AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria

The qualification criteria for various courses are published by ANDHRA PRADESH STATE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION (APSCHE). The list of qualification criteria are as follows:

  • Nationality: Applicant must be a resident of India.
  • Domicile: Aspirants must have Andhra Pradesh state domicile or should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the concerned authority.
  • Qualifying Exam: The applicant should have qualified B.Pharma, B.Tech or its equivalent degree from an approved college or university.
  • Marks Required: Aspirant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree and in case of SC/ST candidate’s minimum 45% marks are required.
  • Score Card: Applicant should bear a scorecard of any one of these exams i.e. GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET.
  • Fitness: Applicant must be fit in all points of fitness.

AP PGECET Hall Ticket 2020

Applicants can get their Admit Card / Hall Ticket from 25 April 2020 tentatively. Candidates can use their Application Number or Date of Birth to get the hall ticket. It will be available only through Online mode. No other mode can be used to get the Hall Ticket. The candidate is suggested to keep their Hall ticket safely, to meet the further requirement (at the time of admission). Also, the applicant has to carry a valid ID proof along with the Hall ticket during the exam.

AP PGECET Syllabus

The syllabus of Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is published by APSCHE, Hyderabad along with information brochure. The syllabus is important for candidates preparing for postgraduate admission in Andhra Pradesh state. The students can practise for the computer-based test by attempting the mock tests available on the home page.

AP PGECET 2020 Results

AP PGECET 2020 Results will be announced on 14 May 2020 (tentatively) by the Andhra University, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. Candidates can check it through online mode. Based on the result, candidates will qualify for counselling which will be through online mode. Candidates can download the admit card through their account after a week of the declaration of result for which candidates registered for their examinations.

AP PGECET 2020 Answer Key

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test answer key shall give a description of how much marks a candidate can secure after appearing for the exam. Candidates can download the preliminary answer key on 05 May 2020. Candidate can crosscheck the answers and if any objection about the preliminary key arises, then they can apply for objection till 07 May 2020.

AP PGECET 2020 Counselling

The counselling will be held after the declaration of result. Candidates who cleared the entrance exam will be called for the counselling session and will get the call letters with dates time and venue of AP PGECET Counselling. Candidates must attend the counselling in order to get admission into institutions. The seats will be allotted on the basis of rank obtained in the result. However, the candidates whose minimum marks are 25% of total marks are eligible for counselling with all the documents handy for verification of the same. The candidate is also required to pay Rs. 1000/- as counselling fees whereas for SC and ST candidates the amount is Rs. 500/-.

AP PGECET 2020 CUT-OFF

Generally, cut-off marks are the minimum marks for getting admission into your desired college which varies for each and every college of the same course depending on the rating and quality of the college. However, the candidate whose marks won’t match even the least cut-off of AP PGECET 2020 would be denied admissions and will not be entertained for any further admission procedure of AP PGECET 2020. The cut-off will be made available through online mode only. The candidates will be eligible for PGECET 2020 counselling process on the basis of PGECET 2020 cut-off. There are a lot of factors which determine the cut-off like the number of candidates attempting the test, AP PGECET 2020 result, seat availability among others.
