Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology will conduct CIPET JEE 2020 to grant admission to various degree courses. Moreover, candidates can also apply for degree courses in B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech and M.Sc in various affiliated institutions. CIPET JEE 2020 Application Form

  • The application form procedure for CIPET Joint Entrance Examination is an online mode. Further, the link for applying will be activated from mid-February 2020. Candidates need to visit the official website to apply for this exam.

  • Then, fill all the details asked in the application form (Name, address, communication details, academic qualifications etc).

  • Next step is to pay the application fee.

NOTE: Moreover, candidates need to take out a print out of the successfully filled application form. Next, along with the application form, candidates need to attach the below-given documents:

CIPET Eligibility Criteria

  • Below given is the set of eligibility criteria set down by the organising body.
  • First and foremost, all the candidates who are applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria.
  • Since the eligibility rules are different for different courses, it is advised that the candidate should carefully check the eligibility for the course they want to apply.
  • If at any stage it is found that the candidate does not meet the eligibility requirements, his or her application will be immediately discarded.


Eligibility Criteria


A bachelors degree in any science subject;

Chemistry being a mandatory subject


A bachelors degree in any science subject; Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects


3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or any other equivalent exam


Class 10th passed; (should pass in English, Science and Maths)

M.E/M.Tech-(Plastic Engineering/Technology)

Bachelors (B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engg.) in Mechanical/ Chemical/Production/Polymer/Plastics Engineering/Technology
Masters in Polymer Science/Chemistry with Polymer specialisation


B.E./B.Tech.(4years) in Mechanical Plastics/ Engineering/Technology/Polymer/Chemical
Or Masters in Polymer Science/Physics/Chemistry

Candidate should have qualified GATE


Graduation in Science with a Degree in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Polymer Science/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Polymer Chemistry/Chemistry as one of the major subject

M.Sc. (Tech)

Should have qualified class XII with Maths Physics and Chemistry as essential subjects.

Age limitations:

  • For DPMT & DPT- 20 years
  • For PGD-PPT; PD-PMD with CAD/CAM and PGD-PTQM – 25 years
  • For M.Sc. (Tech)- 21 years as on 31 July 2020

Admit card Of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering 2020

  • Admit Card will be issued on 01 July 2020.
  • Further, it will carry all the essential details such as venue of exam, date and time of the examination and other information or rules regarding this exam.
  • Without the admit card a candidate will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
  • Moreover, it is advisable to carry a valid Government ID proof along with the admit card, to the venue.
  • Further, a candidate should always preserve his/her admit card even after the examination as it will be required later for downloading results, during the counselling process etc.

The Result of CIPET JEE 2020

  • The expected date for the declaration of result for Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology Joint entrance examination 2020, will be on 17 July 2020.
  • The results will be available online. Hence the candidates need to check the official website for downloading their result.
  • Firstly, candidates need to log in using their roll no provided on the admit card.
  • Then save or download the result and print a hard copy of the result.
  • No doubt, candidates should bring this printout at the time of admission.
  • Kindly note that candidates will not be informed about the results by the conducting Authority.

CIPET Entrance Exam 2020 Counselling and Admission

  • Counselling for CIPET JEE 2020 will commence from 17 July 2020.
  • Moreover, getting admission is purely based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance test.
  • Accordingly, based on the merit, a call letter will be issued to the selected candidates.
  • Based on the call letter, which shall carry all the further details for admission, candidates should report for the admission.
