• Candidates with a good academic record having 1^st class in M.Tech.

• Candidates with a good academic record having a Ph.D. degree and 1-year experience post Ph.D. and 1^st class in the degree.

2. Associate Professor–

• Candidates with a good academic record having a Ph.D. degree and 6 years experience minimum in Teaching/Research/Industry.

• Out of these 6 years, at least 3 years experience must be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer or Senior Design Engineer. The 1st class must be obtained in the degree.

3. Professor–

• Candidates with good academic record and Ph.D. degree with minimum 10 years of experience.

• Out of these 10 years, at least 4 years experience must be at the level of Associate Professor. The 1st class must be obtained in the degree.

Pay Band–

• Assistant Professor–

According to the qualifications, it is divided into two parts-

• Pay band-3: Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 with an academic grade pay of Rs. 6000/- per month.

• Pay band-3: Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 with an academic grade pay of Rs. 8000/- per month.

• Associate Professor–

Pay band-4: Rs. 37,400 to 67,000 with an academic grade pay of Rs. 9500/- per month.

• Professor–

Pay band-4: Rs. 37,400 to 67,000 with an academic grade pay of Rs. 10,500/- per month.
