GATE 2020 CCMT Counselling has been started. The Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi conducted GATE 2020 (Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering). It is a National level entrance exam for admission in M.Tech and M.Sc programmes in engineering and architecture. Candidates can get admission into PhD courses through this exam. Also, qualifying this examination can get admission into NITs, IITs, GFTI’s and IISC’s and various other prestigious colleges.   • The GATE 2020 COAP registration has been started from 19 March 2020.
  • Through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP), applicants can check the result of their seat allotment by the institute in which they have applied.

  • The first round of the COAP 2020 will be available from June 2020.

GATE 2020 Counselling

The details regarding the GATE counselling 2020 are given below:

  • GATE 2020 counselling will start from 29 April 2020.
  • GATE 2020 counselling will be conducted after declaration of the result.
  • Candidates selected in the GATE 2020 result will have to apply separately for admission in IITs. The board will not conduct any centralised counselling process.
  • However, Admission in M.Plan/M.Arch programmes, centralized counselling will be provided for admission in NITs and various centrally funded institutions.
  • During the Counselling, process candidates have to make choices of colleges and the courses of their preference.

GATE 2020 Application Form

The details regarding the GATE 2020 application form are given below:

  • Application Form Registration started from 01 September 2019.
  • Firstly, the Registration will be done through online mode only.
  • Also, the candidates can fill the Online Application Form through the Official Website.
  • The last date to fill the application form was 28 September 2019.
  • Further, upload a recent passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, graduation certificate (if applicable), and category certificate (if applicable).
  • Also, international candidates have to possess a valid passport to apply. The rest of the application procedure is the same as for Indians.

If I am having backlog, can I give GATE 2020?

Yes, you can apply for GATE 2020 using the marks sheet of any of the semesters of your B.Tech. However, you will have to clear your backlog by August 2020 to be able to get admissions in M.Tech.

How many attempts are there for GATE?

There is No limit for attempting GATE 2020 Exam. GATE Aspirants can give GATE test many times as they want but one should try to clear it in the first or second attempt to get better jobs
