IPU CET 2020 is the Common Entrance Test for admissions into various UG and PG programs such as Engineering(B.Tech), Medical, Management, Law etc. Admission will be offered into B.Tech, BBA, BCA, LLB, LLM, MBA, MCA & various other courses under GGSIPU and various affiliated colleges. • IPU CET Application Form date was 03 March 2020.
• Candidates can fill the form through online mode from the official website.
• Candidates have to fill separate forms to apply for multiple courses.
• AP ECET 2020 last date of application form is 17 April 2020.
• Candidates must fill the details correctly while filling the application form.
• In case of any mistake in the application form, a correction window will be provided by the authority.

IPU CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility of IPU CET for different courses is mentioned below:

• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

For UG courses:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates should be 10+2 pass or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• Age Limit:
  • The candidate must not be beyond 21 years of age for all the UG courses other than MBBS/BDS.
  • For MBBS/BDS, the candidate must not be beyond 25 years of age

For PG Courses:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates should complete their graduate degree.
• Age Limit:
  • For postgraduate programs, the age should be or less than 35 years.
  • Bachelor of Vocation applicants should not be beyond 45 years of age

Age Relaxation

The details regarding the age relaxation are given below:

• • The upper age limit may be relaxed up to a maximum of five years in
    exceptional cases by the Admission Officer (designated) of the concerned program.
  • Candidates exceeding the upper age limit up to five years may provisionally
    apply/ appear in the Common Entrance Test.
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates along with widows/defence personnel are given a relaxation of 5% marks.

How to apply for IPU CET 2020?

Candidates can apply for IPU CET through the following steps:

• Registration:
  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on Registration.
  • Then enter the details asked for the registration.
• Filling the details:
  • Candidates may fill the personal, academic and educational details.
  • The details should be as per the guidelines.
• Uploading the Documents:
  • Upload the required documents i.e recent photograph and signature and left thumb impression.
  • After uploading click on next.
• Fee Payment:
  • Candidates may then pay the application fee.
  • Candidates can pay the fee in online mode.
• Submission of the Form:
  • Candidates may at last submit the application form.
  • Take a print of filled in the application form for further use.

IPU CET 2020 Admit Card

• The IPU CET Admit Card will be made available from 10 April 2020.
• Admit card can be downloaded from the official site (www.ipu.ac.in) of the university.
• It is mandatory to bring the admit card to the examination hall.
• Please note that the Candidates must keep the admit card safe till the admission procedure.  Provision re-issuing of duplicate admits card is not there.

IPU CET 2020 Exam Pattern

Here students can check the IPU CET exam pattern:

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through offline (pen and paper-based) mode.
• Pattern: It will be conducted in the OMR pattern.
• Answering Mode: Candidates must use a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark the answer.
• No. of Questions: The question paper will contain 150 questions (200 for Biotechnology).
• Marking Scheme: Four marks will be provided for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. Questions with more than one answer will also be considered as the wrong answer.

• The question paper will comprise of 200 objective type questions.
• The Questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology subjects.
• Three marks awarded for each correct answer whereas one mark will get reduce for each wrong response.
• The question paper will be in English medium.
