JEE Main Rank List 2019 – Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main Examination in April (via offline mode and online mode) can check JEE Main 2019 Rank List in April 2019. Only after the National Testing Agency (NTA) announces the same.  The Rank list of JEE Main 2019 for Paper 2 will get declare on 27 May 2019. The All India Ranks (AIRs) of the candidates will get proclaim along with with the JEE Main result 2019 simultaneously. Unlike previous years, there is no normalization of the JEE Main scores this year. The extended Rank list is published by IIT Board.

JEE Main authority concerned will prepare Rank List on the basis of the actual marks scored and not the normalization of it. And they will display two lists one is AIR (All India Rank) and the second one is category rank. Category rank will not carry much weight as the admissions will take place explicitly on the basis of AIR  only. In order to acquire notion, the institute may ask category rank as well. Some Imperative features of JEE Main Rank List 2019

  • JEE Main All India Ranks (AIRs) declared in April 2019. One can procure the Rank cards simultaneously along with the result of JEE Main 2019.
  • The Rank List of JEE Main 2019 includes – All India Ranks and Category-wise Ranks. The JEE Main AIRs are used for admission purposes by JoSAA whereas the category ranks are for the sake of acquiring information only.
  • Admissions to eligible candidates of JEE Main 2019 in the undergraduate programs of engineering colleges based on All India Ranks of JEE Main 2019 in 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 GFTIs, which are the participating institutes of JEE Main 2019.

  • JEE Main Rank list 2019 for admission to B.E/B.Tech programs (excluding IITs)
    In the case of a tie, the tie-breaking guidelines will play the imperative role, according to this the candidates with higher marks in Mathematics, Physics will get higher ranks.
  • Candidates’ absolute value calculated on the basis of the ratio of negative and positive marks of the candidate. And the candidate with a higher absolute value of this ratio will get a higher rank.
  • In case, all the above tie-breaking rules are applied and still a specific rank to them is not possible then the candidates will be offered the same rank.
