MHT CET 2020 Exam has been postponed until further notice. The new dates have not been released yet. The Admit Card will be released on 05 April 2020. It is conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell on the behalf of Directorate of Technical Education. MHT CET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted every year for admission in UG programmes. This exam offers admission in various UG courses such as  Engineering, Health, and Pharmacy etc. The exam was scheduled from 13 -17 April 2020. MHT CET 2020 Admit Card

The details regarding the MHTCET Admit card are given below:

  • The admit card for MHCET 2020 will be available for download from the 05 April 2020.
  • In order to appear for the exam, the candidates are supposed to produce the hall ticket for MHCET 2020.
  •  Also, the last date to download the MHT CET 2020 Admit Card is 23 April 2020.
  • The admit card of MHT CET 2020 can be downloaded from the official website after filling in the Application form and successful Application fee payment.

  • Firstly, visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra and click on the link “Admit card”.
  • Secondly, Enter your user Id and password.
  • Also, Click on “submit”.
  • And, your Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.

How To Apply for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test?

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill the MHT CET application form.

  • Firstly, visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra.
  • Secondly, click on “New User Registration“.
  • And, Fill valid Email Id and Mobile number.
  • Now, Click on the “Apply Now” button.
  • Also, Fill the details such as personal, contact, category, gender, date of birth, educational, etc.
  • After that click on ‘Upload Photo & Signature button.
  • Upload scanned photo (file should be between 15 Kb – 50 Kb) and signature (file should be between 5 Kb – 50 Kb) in.JPEG format.
  • Click on “upload images” button and upload the images.
  • Now, click on the “Continue” button to process further.
  • And, pay the Application fee.
  • Choose the payment option and pay the requisite fee.
  • After successful payment, click on the “Generate MHT CET Registration Confirmation Page” link.
  • Finally, take the Printout of the filled in the Application form and fee receipt and keep it with you for further use.

  • Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra is the Authority to organize MHT CET.

MHT CET 2020 Exam Pattern

The details regarding the MHT CET 2020 exam pattern is given below:

  • Total Marks:
    • The First paper comprises of questions from the Mathematics of 100 marks.
  • Subjects:
    • While The Second paper presents questions from the field of physics and Chemistry. Again each section has a weightage of 100 Marks.
    • The last paper puts up the problems from Biology(Zoology and Botany), again for 100 marks.
  • Groups:
    • The exam will be in two groups i.e PCM(Physics, chemistry and mathematics) and PCB(Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
  • Medium:
    • The exam will be conducted English, Urdu, Marathi for PCB subjects and Mathematics will be only in English.
  • Syllabus: 
    • The questions in the entrance exam are based on the syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
    • Somewhere around 20% weightage will be given to class 11 curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to class 12 curriculum while setting the question paper.
