OP Jindal Global University, Haryana was established as a non-profit organization under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2009. The University is presently situated on an 80 acre land in the National Capital Region of India. The founder Chancellor of the University Mr Naveen Jindal initiated the establishment of this global education premises in the memory of O.P Jindal.

The admission and application process of the Jindal University is very easy and user-friendly. For all the course, the following steps can be followed:

1. The candidate must go on the official website where the web link of the Application form will be hosted by the authority.
2. Once the candidates open the form, he needs to fill in all the details. The fields included in the form are- Personal details. After filling all the details, the candidate must upload his recent passport size photograph and his clear signature on the application form.
3. After filling the entire form the candidate must submit the form.
4. As soon as the form is submitted the candidate must print a copy of the submitted application form
5. The payment can be made online or by a Demand Draft also. The application form along with the Demand Draft has to be sent to the JGU office.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for every course. However the basic criterion of prescribed marks in the specific subjects or course, age etc. will be common for some courses mentioned above. They will be uploaded by the University through notification as and when the admission process starts.

Scholarships:

O.P Jindal University has announced a number of scholarships for the achievements of students in various fields. The university awards 100 scholarships in one year. The merit of the student is considered and the financial need is not taken into consideration. The information about OP Jindal Engineering and Management (OPJEMS) scholarships is as follows:

• For Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering, the first three toppers of the second, third and fourth year are eligible to get a scholarship.
• In management studies first ten toppers of the second year will be considered for it.
• A monetary prize of Rs.80,000 and Rs. 1,50,000 is given to the eligible candidates.
• For scholarship, the students must be eligible plus they must clear the online test and the interview also.
