SAAT 2020 Notifications is released by the Siksha O’ Anusandhan University. It will conduct the Entrance exam to offer admission to its numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses. And Admission for MBBS and Bachelor in Dental Science (BDS) will be through National Eligibility CUM Entrance Test (NEET).

SAAT 2020 Notifications Details

All the candidates, who are appearing in the qualifying exam must be eligible to apply for SAAT 2020. And candidates who are unable to submit the marks sheets at the time of applying will have to submit all required documents during counselling, failing to do so will cancel the candidature of the aspirant.

  • Admission in M.Tech can also be obtained on the basis of GATE, such candidates are exempted from SAAT 2020. Also, admission into M.Tech will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT 2020 or valid GATE score, and a personal Interview taken together.
  • Applicants having a composite score of 500 or more in GMAT /CAT / ATMA/ MAT/ XAT. Also in any other equivalent test will not get the permission to appear on the entrance test without filled up Application form.

SAAT (2020)-Exam Pattern

The examination pattern varies according to the course:

1 mark to be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Siksha O’ Anusandhan University Entrance Reservations

  1. Reservations Criteria in SAAT 2020
  • Schedule Caste (SC): 15%
  • Schedule Tribe (ST): 7.5%
  • Physically Handicapped (PH): 3%.
  • Women Candidates:  30%.

SC/ST candidates have to provide a certificate at the time of counselling.

Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes candidates residing outside Orissa will have to produce the SC/ST certificate from the competent authority of Orissa.

A candidate with 40% disabilities in agreement with the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995, Section 39 will be eligible for the Persons with Disability category. Such students will have to provide a proof of their disability in a specified format.

There are no reservation criteria for lateral entry admissions.
