GPAT 2021 Result: Merit List, Scorecard and how to download?

GPAT 2021 Result will be declared by NTA on in the first week of February 2021 in the online mode at the official website. Candidates can check GPAT result using application number, password/date of birth. After the declaration of the result, selected candidates can apply separately to the desired college as more than 800 participating colleges accept GPAT score. The result/scorecard is not sent to the candidates via post. Candidates have to download it from the official website and further to be used by the candidates for admission process in their desired college. GPAT 2021 Result

The result for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2021 will be released in the form of a scorecard, after which a merit list is released. The scorecard for GPAT 2021 is released in the online mode only. Candidates must download and take a print out of GPAT scorecard as it shall be required during the admission process in the desired college. The score for the entrance exam shall be valid for 03 years from the date of declaration of result.

How to Check the GPAT 2021 Result?

Candidates can check the result for GPAT 2021 by following the instructions as provided below.

Step 1: Click on the direct link on this page to check GPAT result.
Step 2: There are two (02) options by which you can check the result.
Step 3: First option 1 is by entering application number and password, the other option is by entering application number and date of birth.
Step 4: Click on the sign-in button to submit the details.
Step 5: On submitting the login details, your result will appear on the screen.

GPAT 2021 Merit List

The All India merit list for GPAT 2021 exam is released by NTA based on the percentile and score of the individual. It is released in the pdf format online. The merit list indicates the roll number, rank obtained, the status of qualifying the exam. In case, two or more candidate obtains the same marks in the entrance test, then the same rank is assigned to them in the merit.

How is GPAT Result 2021 percentile?

The result for NTA GPAT 2021 is compiled based on the final answer key. No correction in the answer key is considered after the declaration of the result. The raw marks (actual marks) obtained by the candidate is used for computation of NTA GPAT result. The raw marks are calculated by adding and deducting the marks as provided below.

  • For a correct answer, +4 marks are added.
  • For an incorrect answer, -01 marks are deducted.

GPAT 2021 Tie Breaker Criteria

In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the entrance test, then their tie is resolved in the following order:

  • Marks obtained in Pharmaceutics
  • Marks obtained in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
  • Candidates with a less negative score in the exam.
  • Older candidates are considered higher in the merit.

To qualify the entrance exam, candidates need to obtain marks equal to or greater than the GPAT 2021 cutoff. It is released by NTA as soon as the result is declared. It is prepared by considering various factors like-
  • Number of candidates registered for GPAT
  • A number of candidates appeared for the entrance test.
  • The difficulty level of the test.
