The Central Board of Secondary Education has changed the CBSE Pattern of class 12th. The main reason to change the CBSE 2022 Exam Pattern for class 12 is to improve the quality of education. Board changes question paper pattern for class 12
Notably, several schools, after the release of sample question papers for Classes X and XII, observed that weightage for MCQs has increased by 10 percent.

- About 50 percent of questions in class 12 English sample question paper were multiple-choice questions.
- No Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) in class 12 Biology paper 2021 have most likely been replaced by Assertion and Reason-based questions.
