As of 04 September 2026, CBSE Class 3 remains a school-based, continuous and comprehensive programme with no centralized board examination. The CBSE Class 3 syllabus — covering Maths, English, EVS, and Hindi through NCERT textbooks — has not seen an officially confirmed revision for 2023 or 2026-27 as per the latest content on cbseacademic.nic.in. However, CBSE Academic has officially released the 2026-27 Curriculum Framework for Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Classes III–VIII, signalling a gradual integration of new learning areas. The Detailed Curriculum 2026-27 is also live on the official portal. Going by previous-year patterns, individual schools conduct mid-term assessments in September–October and annual assessments in February–March.
