Paper-1 Objective Type Questions
In paper-1, there will be 50 objective-type questions carrying 1 mark each, and the time allowed to solve the paper is 75 minutes. The syllabus is mentioned in the given below table.

|Trigonometry||Questions in this topic are Measures of angles, the trigonometric function of an acute angle, reduction formulae, addition & subtraction formulae, inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric equations, and their solutions.|
|Statistics and Probability||Permutations and Combinations, nature and purpose of statistics, tabular & graphical representation of samples, variance, correlation, mathematical expectation, curve fitting, random experiments, probability, random variables.|
|Vector||Questions to be asked in Paper-1 under vector are Scalar and vector quantities, Cross product and scalar product, the triple product of a vector.|
|General Awareness||Important topics of Current Affairs, Events in Indian History and Important Scientific discoveries|

Paper-2 Short Type Questions
In this paper, there will be 15 short-type questions carrying 3 marks for each and one long question carrying 5 marks. Questions will come under Higher Mathematics and Computer subjects. The syllabus of higher mathematics is mentioned in the given below table.

|Calculus||It includes Successive differentiation, partial differentiation, convexity, concavity, asymptotes and curve tracing of curves of the form F(x,y)=0 and of curves given in the terms of parametric equations, theorems of derivatives of inverse functions, hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions and their derivatives, curvature of a curve- Cartesian and parametric forms, definite integrals- Cartesian and parametric, computation of lengths of arcs and areas given under curves and the method of approximation- Simpson’s rule and trapezoidal rule.|
|Co-ordinate Geometry||Coordinate systems, lines in a plane, circle, points of intersection of the line and a curve, pair of tangents from a point, pole and polar, chord of contact, equation of chord in term of the midpoint and diameter of conic, conjugate diameters, geometric transformations, special properties of parabola, ellipse and hyperbola, Transformation of axes, shifting of origin, rotation of axes, reduction of the equation of a second, S = ax2+2hxy+by2+2gx+2fy+c=0 to standard form through the transformation of coordinates.|
|Linear Algebra||Definitions of a group, ring, and field with illustrations, vector space, linear independence and dependence, basis, row and column spaces of matrices and its connection with rank, Spaces of solutions of a system of linear homogeneous equations, linear transformations, and their algebra, connections between matrices and linear transformations, determinant, and trace of a linear transformation.|
|Theory of Equations||Polynomials and its characteristics, roots of the equation, the relation between roots and coefficients, Transformation of an equation, solution of a cubic and biquadratic equations.|

|DOS Fundamentals and PC Software||It includes concepts of files and directories, basic DOS commands, creation of batch files, configuring DOS, formatting of hard disk, MS Windows, features of Word processing package, creation, editing, formatting of the document, global search and replacement of text, printing, spelling checking, and mail merge, spreadsheets: graphs, statistical, financial, and mathematical functions, databases: creating a database file, indexing and sorting database file and managing multiple database files.|
|Numericals Methods||Finding the root of a non-linear equation by using the bisection method, Newton-Raphson method, solutions of simultaneous linear equations, Gauss elimination method, Gauss-Siedel method, interpolation using Lagrange’s method, integration using the trapezoidal rule, Simpson’s rule, (numerical and algorithm type questions will be asked).|
|Statistical Techniques||The arithmetic mean, standard deviation, linear regression and rank correlation.|
