Step 1: Registration

BVP CET Counselling 2021 Procedure

In order to participate in counselling of BVP CET 2021, candidates will have to perform the following steps:

  • Step 1– BVP CET 2021 Counselling Call Letter Issue

All the candidates who will clear BVP CET and whose name would appear in the merit list will be issued a counselling letter by the admission authorities. The counselling letter would be sent after the declaration of result to first 5000 candidates at their registered email address. Such candidates have to download the BVP CET 2021 counselling letter and report to the notified venue on the scheduled date and time.

  • Step 2- Reporting to  Counselling Venue of BVP CET 2021

After downloading the counselling letter, candidates have to report in person to the notified venue- ‘Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering, Pune. While reporting to the BVP CET 2021 counselling venue candidates have to carry all the requisite documents (both original and photocopy) for verification. Also, candidates, the ones who know that they are eligible, however, have not received any intimation letter, can also remain present for the counselling of BVP CET for on the spot admission. Candidates should be aware that in case they fail to report at the counselling venue on the scheduled date and time, their candidature will stand to cancel.

  • Step 3- Filling of Choices 

During the counselling session, candidates will have to fill the choice of college and course in order of their preference. In order to get desired college and course, candidates are advised to fill as many choice as possible.

  • Step 4- BVP CET 2021 Seat Allotment 

Based on the merit list and preference candidates would be allotted seats. For BVP CET 2021 seat allotment the qualified candidates will be called in order of their ranking in the merit list.

BVP CET 2021 Paper Pattern

Interested candidates trying to take admission here for the academic session 2021-22 can check all the relevant information about BVP CET 2021 Paper Pattern  below:

  1. The medium of BVP CET examination paper will be in English only.
  2. Total marks for the BVP CET is 200.
  3. A number of questions: 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ) will be asked. Also, Each will be having four options with it and only one correct choice will be there.
  4. Marks: Each question carries one mark
  5. Examination duration: The paper will be for three hours ie. 180 minutes. Also, the candidates will not get any extra time.
  6. Negative marking: There is no negative marking in the examination.
  7. Seat allotment in the examination centre: A seat with a unique number will be allotted to each candidate and they must sit according to that number.
  8. Mode of Examination: The exam takes place in the offline mode only since BVP CET is a pen and paper exam.
  9. Sections and subjects: The examination has three sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.

How to Download BVP CET Result 2021?

The steps to check the BVP CET 2021 Result are as follows:

  • Step 1- At first, the candidates should visit the BVP official website to see the result. @ www.bvuniversity.edu.in
  • Step 2- There, the aspirants must log in using their BVP CET 2021 application number and their date of birth

BVP CET Merit list 2021

On the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the entrance exam, a separate merit list will be prepared for various courses. Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling procedure on the basis of the prepared merit list.

The seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their obtained rank, choice filled by them at the time of counselling and category.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks secured in Mathematics and Physics together. In the case of two candidates will score equal marks, the inter-Se-merit or tie-breaking will be adopted by the university.

Factors that determine Inter-Se-Merit Rank

If two or more candidates secure the same rank, in such cases, inter-Se-merit will be utilised to break the tie between them. Listed below are the guidelines to follow:

  • Candidates who secure more marks in Mathematics will be placed higher.

  • Candidates who have an aggregate percentage of marks in HSC or equivalent examinations.

  • Candidates who secured a higher percentage of marks in Maths in Class 10th(High School)board exam.

  • If the tie still persists, the computer will randomly select a candidate.

The admission will be guaranteed for a student if he or she fulfil the following eligibility criteria for all the courses in common.

  • Candidates should have passed a class 12/any equivalent qualifying examination to be eligible for admissions in undergraduate programs line MBBS, BSC . They must have obtained at least 60% aggregate/ average marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics and biology as a major subject  for bachelor of science courses.
  • For undergraduate courses , a student must appear for a preliminary test which is an entrance exam or counselling procedure as decided by the university
  • In the 10+2 the main core subjects of the candidates should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, biology for science stream admissions in courses of bachelor of science.
  • for postgraduate courses , the corresponding bachelor degree certificate with an at least 50 percentage of aggregate marks must be scored.

The candidates are required to bring the following Original Certificates with two sets each of photocopies.

  1. 10th class or SSLC original pass certificate or marks card.
  2. 10+2 /class 12 Intermediate marks statement and Pass Certificate.
  3. Provisional Certificate and each semester mark statements of a bachelor degree for admission to post graduate programs.

A Certain percentage of seats in all courses in Adesh university is reserved for students belonging to minority communities as per government of India guidelines. The percentage of seats reserved are given in detail below.
