Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2019 Provisional Admission Letter has been released on 5th August 2019 for Phase II. Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Education Common Entrance Test 2019 will be conducted by Department of School Education Government of Andhra Pradesh. AP DEECET is a state-level exam and conducted once in a year. Candidates looking for admission in the Diploma in Education (D.Ed) 2 years course should apply for this exam. Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2019 Admission

All the seats of the government colleges and DIETs and 80% seats belongs to category ‘A’ will be filled by the Convener AP DEECET 2019 and 20% seats of the Category ‘B’ will be filled by the respective colleges.

AP DEECET 2019 Application Form

The application form last dates for AP DEECET 2019 was on 06 May 2019. It will be available in online mode only. It is necessary that applicant register themselves for the exam. The applicant can fill the application form on the official website of Department of School Education Government of Andhra Pradesh www.deecetap.cgg.gov.in.  The applicants are advised to fill authentic information in the application form, another wise the result of the candidate will be disqualified for later stages. It is advised to the applicant to keep a scanned copy of their recent photo and signature while applying for the exam.

How to Apply Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2019?

  1. Open the official website link of Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  2. Read all the instruction carefully.
  3. After that, click on Apply online.
  4. Then, Fill all authentic details regarding Applicant.
  5. Click on the submit form button.
  6. After that, enter information regarding your exam-related, personal, academic, address, guardian.
  7. Click on NEXT.
  8. Check all the filled information regarding candidate & click on Submit.
  9. Keep saving your application number for future use.
  10. Applicant cross-checks his/her mobile number & email ID.
  11. Now, click on Upload Scanned Image.
  12. Upload scanned a photograph, the signature of candidate & parents/guardian images in a format which mentions in instructions.
  13. Check the application & go for fee submission.
  14. Submit the fee of the application form.
  15. In last, take a print copy for future use.

AP DEECET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

It is informed to aspirants to read instructions from the information brochure carefully before applying for the exam. Applicants who fail to fulfil any eligibility criteria will be disqualified from the exam. Therefore, it is required that the applicant fulfill all the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of  Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Education Common Entrance Test 2019 are mention below.

An only Indian citizen can apply for this exam.

Age Limit:  The applicant must have completed 17 years as on September 2019. There is no upper limit for age.

Educational qualification:

  1. The applicant must pass or appear in 10+2 during 2018-19 final exam or equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. However, they should exam by the time of admission.
  2. The candidate who has passed the class 10+2 will be eligible for AP DEECET exam 2019.
  3. The applicants must pass with 50 per cent of marks in aggregate in qualifying exam for DEECET – 2019 for both A and B category. The candidate who belong to Schedule caste, Schedule Tribe and Physically challenged candidates must have minimum 45% of marks.
  4. An applicant who belongs to “O.C” and “B.C” communities should obtain minimum 50% marks in DEECET 2019. For scheduled caste, Schedule Tribe and Physically challenged applicants must obtain at least 45% of marks. The applicant who belongs to SC and ST categories should secure 50% of marks for consideration against seats under OC/NCC/CAP/ Sports

Note: The applicants who passed intermediate with vocational courses will not eligible.

AP DEECET 2019 Admit Card

The admit card for AP DEECET 2019 has been available from 10 May 2019. The applicants who filled the application form successfully before the last date will able to download the admit cards by entering the date of birth and their application number. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit cards on exam date or else they will not be allowed to give the exam. The admit card contains all the information regarding the applicant and exam.

AP DEECET 2019 Exam Pattern

The whole question paper of AP DEECET 2019 will have objective type question. The applicant has to answer 100 MCQ questions. The question paper consists of two parts, Part – A and Part- B. Part-A will carry 60 marks and Par-B will carry 40 marks.

Syllabus of Exam

The syllabus of Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Education Common Entrance Test 2019 of Paper 1 and Paper 2 is mentioned below

 Paper 1-

  • Teaching Aptitude
  • General Knowledge, English, Telugu, Mathematics, General Science and Social science of standard VI to X

Paper 2-

  • Mathematics of intermediate level of A.P state
  • Physical science consists of Physics and Chemistry of the intermediate level of A.P Board
  • Bio-Science which is consist of Botany and Zoology of the intermediate level of A.P state
  • The syllabus of Social Science will be the intermediate level of Andhra Pradesh board

Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2019 Answer Key

 Applicants can check the answer key after the completion of the entrance test. The AP DEECET 2019 Test Answer Key will be issued through online mode. Candidates are able to cross-check his/her attempts with the answer key. The counselling procedure will begin after the declaration of the result. The counselling will be started from the first week of June 2019.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2019 Result

The result of AP DEECET 2019 was declared on 28 June 2019. It is available on the official webpage of the Department of School Education Government of Andhra Pradesh. The merit list will be prepared separately for each category.

Seat Allotment

All the seat intake of government DIET will be filled on the basis of rank obtained in the DEECET- 2019 on the basis of the rule of reservation vide 6 and 7.  The seats allotted to the private and Un-aided institutions will be classified as (1) category seats ‘A’ and (2) category seats ‘B’. The category ‘A’ seats shall be 80% of the sanctioned intake seats in private institutions shall be filled on the based of rank obtained in the AP DEECET 2019. The category ‘B’ seats of private colleges shall be 20% of total intake seats. These 20% seats will be available to applicants who appeared in AP DEECET 2019 and has been assigned rank in the common merit list.

Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2019 Counselling

Department of School Education Government of Andhra Pradesh will declare schedule of counselling after releasing of merit list. The candidates who have clear the merit list will be called for admission counselling. The counselling will be conducted in two phases i.e. Phase 1 and Phase 2. The first phase counselling will be started from 25 May and the second phase will be from last week of June 2019.
