DU First Cut Off List 2027 is expected to be available in online and offline modes. The cutoff represents the minimum marks to be scored in the Class XII board examination, making candidates eligible for admission. Students calculate their percentage using the ‘Best of Four’ formula, and the DU 2027 first cutoff will be determined based on this method. Various factors shape this cutoff, including the total number of applications, available seats, and the highest and lowest marks secured by applicants. Each college under Delhi University publishes its individual DU first cutoff separately.

As of 14 Oct 2026, Delhi University Admissions 2027 has not received any officially confirmed update from the University of Delhi, so the cycle is still at a waiting stage. The university has not yet announced the first admission notification, application dates, or the first cut-off schedule for the 2027 session. Based on the usual DU admission pattern, the next step is expected to be the release of the official admission bulletin followed by registration and subsequent cut-off/allocation rounds, but these timelines remain tentative. Students should monitor the official admission portal and prepare documents, category certificates, and course preferences in advance. For now, no confirmed change in the admission process, cut-off method, or schedule has been announced on du.ac.in. Official website: du.ac.in.
- Application/registration is tentatively expected to start after the official admission notification is released, likely in the coming months based on prior DU admission cycles.
- The first cut-off list is tentatively expected only after applications close and merit/seat allocation is processed, not immediately.
- Course-wise and college-wise cut-offs are usually expected to be published in phases, depending on seat intake and admission rounds.
- Document verification and fee payment are likely to follow each cut-off/allocation round once the portal opens.
- Subsequent cut-off or allocation rounds are expected if seats remain vacant after the first list.
- Students should keep checking official DU admission notices for the exact schedule rather than relying on estimate dates.
