NEET UG 2027 Latest Update as on 14 Oct 2026
Contains
Checked on 14 Oct 2026
As of 14 Oct 2026, NTA has not issued an official NEET UG 2027 notification yet; students should watch the NTA website for the application and exam schedule, which is expected to follow the usual NTA cycle.
NEET UG 2027 is still in the pre-notification stage, and the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released any official application, exam date, or result notice yet. The official NTA portals currently show only 2026-related notices, so there is no confirmed 2027 schedule at this time. Students should monitor the NTA website regularly on neet.nta.nic.in for the first notification, information bulletin, and registration window. Based on the usual NTA pattern, the next step is expected to be the release of the NEET UG 2027 notification and application form in the coming months, followed by admit cards and the exam, but these timelines are only expected, not official. For now, candidates should keep documents ready and avoid relying on unofficial dates.
- NEET UG 2027 registration is expected to open in late 2026 or early 2027, based on the previous NTA cycle.
- The information bulletin and eligibility details are expected to be released with the notification, but this is not officially confirmed yet.
- The exam is expected to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), as in previous NEET cycles.
- Admit card release is typically expected a few days before the exam date, after the application process closes.
- The result is expected to be declared after the examination and answer-key process, but no official date is available yet.
- If the schedule follows the previous pattern, counselling will be handled later by the competent counselling authority, not by NTA.

Goa NEET Merit List 2027
The merit list will be prepared for the admission process based on the candidate’s NEET UG score and the state admission rules. A better rank usually improves the chance of getting a preferred college or course during choice filling. The merit list will also guide candidates for the counselling round they can participate in, document verification, and seat allotment.
How the Goa merit list is usually used
After registration, the authorities verify the uploaded details and prepare a provisional merit list. If the portal allows corrections or objections, the final merit list is released after those issues are reviewed. Only candidates included in the final list can usually move to the choice-filling stage and wait for allotment.
Common counselling mistakes to avoid
- Entering the wrong NEET roll number, application number, or category details.
- Uploading unclear documents or missing certificates during verification.
- Ignoring the order of preferences while doing choice filling.
- Missing the reporting date after seat allotment.
- Not checking whether the round is a free exit, exit with forfeiture, or final exit as per the official notice.
