GUJCET 2020 Exam Date has been released on 20 May 2020 and the GUJCET exam will be conducted on 30 July 2020. GUJCET is also known as the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). It is a State-level entrance exam conducted every year by Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). GUJCET 2020 Postponed Due to Coronavirus

The GUJCET 2020 exam has been postponed due to COVID-19 Outbreak. The official notification says that the exam will be conducted after 15 April 2020. However, the exam dates will be announced by the authorities on or after 31 March 2020.

Earlier, The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar was going to conduct the exam on 31 March 2020 in offline mode. But, as the entrance exam has been postponed, for now, candidates who have registered themselves for the GUJCET exam are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest news and updates.

GUJCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check GUJCET eligibility criteria before applying for the examination:

For Engineering:

  • Qualifying Exam: Pass higher secondary (12th) examination from the recognized board.
  • Subjects: Candidates must pass above examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subject along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects.
  • Minimum Marks: Pass above examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST & SEBC).
  • Candidates Appearing in class 12 can also apply.

For Pharmacy Courses

For Degree Course:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must qualify class 12th examination from the recognized board.
  • Subjects: Pass qualifying examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects & any one of given subjects, i.e. Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology.
  • Minimum Marks: Qualify above exam with at least 45% marks (GEN/OBC category) & 40% marks (SC/ST & SEBC category).

For Diploma Course:

  • Qualifying Exam: Qualify 10+2 examination from the recognized board.
  • Subjects: Candidates must pass the above examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology.

GUJ Common Entrance Test 2020 Exam Pattern

GUJCET 2020 Counselling

The details regarding the GUJCET Counselling are mentioned below:

  • The counselling will be organised by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
  • The counselling process will be in online mode only.
