Madhya Pradesh NMMS 2027: Exam Date, Syllabus & Admission

Madhya Pradesh NMMS 2027 or National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination is scheduled to be held on 06 November 2027. This exam is conducted by the official authorities of Madhya Pradesh government to provide scholarships to the students who are good at studies but are not able to afford higher studies. The government finds meritorious students who are financially weak through this exam and provides them with stipends to motivate students to complete their higher secondary Studies. NMMS was designed by MHRD. The main sponsor of this scheme is the central government and it takes care of the studies of selected students upto their higher secondary i.e class 12.

• The NMMS 2027 exam was held on February 12, 2027. The results of the NMMS 2027 exam will be announced on July 15, 2027.
• The NMMS is a national-level scholarship scheme for meritorious students from economically weaker sections.
• The scheme provides a monthly stipend of INR 1000/- to the selected students. The NMMS scholarship is valid for a period of four years.
• The application form for the NMMS 2027 exam can be downloaded from the NMMS website.
• The application form must be filled in and submitted online.

The eligible students of Madhya Pradesh who wish to apply for the National Means Cum Merit Scheme Examination need to fill the application form with the required details and document copies. Steps given below are to be followed to fill the application form.

• Students have to download the form appearing on the screen.

Madhya Pradesh NMMS 2027 Scholarship Eligibility

The students who want to apply for the scheme have to come under the stated eligibility criteria to be able to give the exam.  The eligibility of the candidate depends on the student’s percentage score of marks as well as the family income of the candidate. The student who wishes to give the exam should fulfill all the below-given criteria.

• Students who are pursuing class 8 can apply for NMMS MP 2027-23 
• A class 8 repeater is not Eligible.
• 55% marks in class 8 are required to apply for the NMMS MP 2027-23 scheme
• Students belonging to a General Category family must get a minimum of 55% marks 
• Students of scheduled caste or scheduled tribe Categories should have passed exam with a minimum of 50% marks

Students Not Eligible for MP NMMS 2027

• Students currently studying from ‘Kendriya Vidyalayas’, JNVs and Sainik schools would not be able to apply for the NMMS Madhya Pradesh Scholarship.
• Students who are pursuing their studies from any Residential schools with alot of facilities like boarding, lodging, and good education won’t be able to apply for the NMMS scheme 
• Students studying in schools run by  private institutions are not eligible for the NMMS scheme

Madhya Pradesh NMMS 2027 Exam Pattern

 The NMMS exam is basically taken in the form of a written test with two different phases.

• Mental Ability Test (MAT) 
• Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

Students giving the exam are provided with 90 minutes for each phase of the exam . Every question in the paper carries one mark which means the exam is a total of 180 marks

• Answer key of the exam is usually updated within 15-20 days after the exam has been conducted .

• After the exam, the government of Madhya Pradesh announces the results of the exam online.
•  The students need to pass both the phases of the exam i.e SAT and MAT with a minimum of 40%.

Madhya Pradesh NMMS 2027 Scholarship Rewards

• Not less than 100,000 students are benefited with scholarships by the National Means Cum Merit Scheme every year 
• Students who pass the exam with the required cut off are rewarded 12,000 INR (Twelve thousand rupees) per annum which means students get 1000 INR (One thousand rupees) per month.
• This scholarship stipend is transferred into the bank account of the selected students by the State bank of India (SBI).
