• The admission to B.Ed. programme will be through CUET (Common University Entrance Test)-PG.
• The candidates must have 50% marks in aggregate either in Bachelor’s Degree and / or in the Master’s Degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program.
• The CUET-PG exam will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) on July 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2023.
• The CUET-PG admit card will be released on NTA’s website on July 07, 2023.
• The CUET-PG result will be declared on August 03, 2023.
• The seat allotment for DU CIE B.Ed Admissions 2023 will be done on August 05, 2023.

1. Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.

3. Candidates must select the Notifications link on the official website.
4. Eligible candidates have to apply through online mode only.

DU CIE B.Ed Admissions 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are eligible for the Common Entrance Test for DU CIE B.Ed Admissions 2023 must have cleared the following criteria:

• Applicants should have completed the 10th/ Matriculation along with ITT Course from a recognized board/Institution with passing marks.
• Aspirants must be an Indian National and must be holding a Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce are eligible.

OR

• Aspirants must be Indian National and must be holding a Bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks in Engineering or Technology and specialization in Science and mathematics are eligible.

NOTE: The Eligibility Criteria is minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories which are belonging to OBC Children/Widows/Wives of Armed Personnel, including ParaMilitary Personnel, killed/disabled in Action (CW), Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

Eligibility for choosing Subject to Teach

First of All, Candidate must have studied the subject he/she selects as a teaching subject while pursuing the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and must have obtained 50% in the subject.

• Duration of Paper: 2 hours (4 PM – 6 PM)

• Negative Marks: 1 mark for each Wrong Answer

• The pattern of Question Paper: The question paper will be divided into the following 2 parts:
  • First Part: 60 MCQ’s of Subject Knowledge at School Level.
  • Second Part: 20 MCQ’s of General Knowledge, Teacher Aptitude, and Reasoning.
  • Third Part: 10+10 MCQ’s of Language Proficiency (in English and Hindi).

DU CIE B.Ed Admissions 2023 Admit Card

Admit Card is mandatory to appear on the Common Online Entrance Test. The Admit Card shall be available for download online on the official websites. The candidates will also be informed about the availability of Admit Card through their registered mobile number and E-mail ID after release.

The Admit Card can be downloaded using the following steps:

1. Visit the official website and then click on the link to download the admit card.
2. Finally, the Candidate shall be required to use the following information for downloading the admit card:
   1. Registration Number/Roll No
   2. Password/Date of Birth in dd-mm-yy format.

Documents Required at the time Of Admission DU CIE B.Ed Admissions 2023?

The Candidates need to produce the following original documents along with the photocopy at the time of admission after the clearance of entrance examination:

1. TC (Transfer Certificate).
2. 10th/High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
3. 12th(Intermediate (+2)) Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
4. Migration Certificate, if passed from a university other than DU (To be submitted not later than 90 days of admission).
5. Mark Sheet of 10th/High School Certificate/equivalent
6. Mark sheets of 12th(Intermediate (+2)) Certificate/equivalent.
7. Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
8. SC/ST/OBC Certificate on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed.
9. UET Admit Card issued from the office of the Controller of Examinations, MAH.
10. Certificate(s) in support of a claim for ‘Sports Seats’.
11. Two latest passport size photograph.
12. In the case of Applicants in service, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer and a letter of sanction of study leave for a period of two years.
