The official material available now is limited to NEET UG 2026 notices, so there is no confirmed update on the 2027 exam pattern, syllabus, eligibility, marking scheme, or counselling process. The merit list is the list of candidates selected and ranked based on marks obtained in NEET UG 2027. The merit list will be followed by the counselling procedure, and seats will be allotted to the candidates according to the Assam state admission rules. Only candidates who are eligible and satisfy the official criteria will be called for counselling.
In a situation where the marks obtained by two or more candidates in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test are equal, the authorities will follow the inter-se merit mechanism mentioned below to resolve the tie:
- Candidates with higher scores in Biology will be given a better rank in the state merit list.
- If a tie still exists, the candidate with better scores in Chemistry will be given a better Assam MBBS state merit rank.
- Lastly, if the tie still exists, age may be taken into account, and older candidates may be given preference if the official state rules permit.
Students often search for NEET UG 2027 state merit list Assam, Assam MBBS counselling rank list, and Assam BDS merit list. The exact tie-breaking and inclusion rules must be read from the state notice because the final counselling document controls the process.
