Lalit Narayan Mithila University Distance Education Admission 2023 Application Form

Candidates seeking admission into the university have to apply for the application form. The application form is available in offline mode only. Application form and prospectus can be obtained in person from the counter of the Directorate Office. Candidates need to be very careful while filling the application form.

Candidates need to make the payments for the application form through Challan/Bank Draft in favour of LNMU Distance Education Fund A/c payable at Darbhanga or by post by remitting a Challan/D.D. only drawn in favor of the LNMU Distance Education Fund A/c along with a written request addressed to the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga.

Application fees for all the courses are given below:

Documents Required:

Candidates must have the following documents at the time of admission:

• Filled in Application Forms attached with prospectus Appendix III
• Self-attested mark-sheet of BA/B.Com./B.Sc./BLIS or Equivalent
• Self-attested Caste Certificate (for reserved category)
• All original certificate, mark sheets for verification along with self-attested photocopies.
• Caste Certificate in original (For reservation category) along with self-attested photocopies.
• Challan/DD programme fee. (in favor of LNMU Distance Education Fund A/C Payable at Darbhanga).
• Challan/DD of Rs. One hundred for Gandhian Library (in favor of LNMU Distance Education Fund A/C Payable at Darbhanga).

Lalit Narayan Mithila University Distance Education Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for all the courses offered by DDE is given below:

• BLIS: Candidates must be graduated with any discipline with 45% aggregate marks in aggregate from a recognized University/ Institutions.
• MLIS: Candidates must hold a degree in Bachelor in Library and Information Science (BLIS) from any recognized University.
• Undergraduate Courses: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or Equivalent Examination from any recognized board.
• Postgraduate Courses: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• B.Ed: Candidates must have secured 50% aggregate marks in graduation or post-graduation.
