RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2023 online registration will start soon. In order to provide free and compulsory education, the Government of India has implemented the RTE Act in each state. Under the Right to Education Act, students in the age group of 6 to 14 years will get free education. All those children who belong to the economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups of the society will get admission in the school through the Right to Education Act. 25% of seats at the entry-level are reserved in every private school under RTE. All the citizens of Tamil Nadu who are willing to apply under this scheme can download the RTE Application Form 2023.

• First of all applicants need to visit the official link for RTE Tamil Nadu Admission.
• Then, by clicking on the link, you are taken to the homepage of the website. 
• Now, go to the Start application Tab available on the homepage.
• Here, you have to first enter your personal details, then finally click on the Save button available. And you also have to fill your parents’ details.
• After that, you have to provide the address details as well. Click on the save option again. Doing so brings up a new page. Then you have to attach the scanned copy of the document. 
• And finally, an applicant can select the school name among Tamil Nadu states.
• Then by repeatedly saving the details. Your registration under RTE TN Admission is finally completed. So, you received a reference number for registration.
• Save this also for future use.
• To know further application status. Applicants can enter an application reference number for login. And also the password that you created during registration. 

RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should belong to the state of Tamil Nadu.
• Only those children are eligible whose parents belong to the economically weaker section, disadvantaged group, disadvantaged group-special category.
• The date of birth for admission in LKG should be between 31st May 2018 to 31st July 2019.
• To get admission in class I, the date of birth of the child should be between 31st May 2016 to 31st July 2017.
• Children of OBC-Others, MBC, ST, SC-Others, SC-Arunthathiyar, OC, DNC (Denotified Community) can also apply.
• The yearly income of the aspirant’s family from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs.
• Priority will be given to handicapped children, children of manual scavengers and HIV infected.

RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2023 Selection Procedure

Once the application form submission process is over, the officials will prepare the list of selected candidates for admission.

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of an open lottery system.
• The Department of School Education in Tamil Nadu will give preference to children living within a 1 km radius of the school.
• Children with disabilities, children of manual scavengers and other HIV-infected people will also get preference.

In order to give free and mandatory education, the Government of Tamil Nadu has commenced the TN RTE Admission Scheme 

• Through this scheme, free and mandatory education is handed to every child till he attains the age of 14. 
•  Through this scheme, the economically weaker section and underprivileged section of the society will get admission in nonpublic schools. 
• Under this scheme, 25 seats are reserved at the entry position in each private academy 
• Aspirants belonging to Tamil Nadu can fill the required application form for RTE 2023.
• All the seminaries in Tamil Nadu are needed to modernize the details of the number of seats available in the academy on the sanctioned website 
• Tamil Nadu School Education Department is answerable for the accomplishment of this scheme 
• There are about 1 lakh seats which are accessible in about 9000 schools across the state 
• All parents whose periodic income is lower than Rs 2 lakh can apply under Economically Weaker Section 
• For socially underprivileged children all communities accept that OC can apply under this scheme 
• Under this scheme, preference will be given to impaired children, wards of sanitation workers and HIV infected.
