AICTE recently released a public notice regarding Distance Education Engineering from 4 Universities. According to the notification issued says that the students/candidates enrolled during the academic sessions 2001-2005 in the four Deemed to be Universities given below to appear in the test(s) to be conducted jointly by AICTE and UGC. The official link for registration is given below. The last extended date for registration is 22 January 2018.
“In pursuance of the orders of the Supreme Court arising out of Special Leave Petition (C) Nos. 19807-19808/2012 the Hon’ble Supreme Court inter alias has directed (under para 46 of page no.106 and para 47page no.107) that the degrees in engineering awarded to students who were enrolled during the academic years 2001-2005 with the following deemed-to-be universities shall stand suspended till they pass the examination under the joint supervision of AICTE – UGC.”
