From 2022 onward Aadhaar is not mandatory to apply for JEE Main. Also, the main idea is to achieve accuracy in the details provided by the candidate.

Students are advised to reach the centre 1 hours before time of test in order to avoid last-minute rushes. To get all the security checks done they must reach on time.

Chemistry is not a compulsory subject anymore for B.E/B.Tech courses as per the recent notification by NTA.
B.Arch: Candidates must have passed class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
B.Plan: Candidates should have passed class 12 with mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Diploma: Candidates who are having any diploma are also eligible to apply for the exam.

JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode: JEE Main 2022 exam will be held in online mode(CBT mode).
Duration: The exam will be of 03 hours duration.
In the case of a PWD candidate with 40% disability, extra 01 hours will be given to complete the exam.
Language: Candidates will attempt the JEE Main exam in Hindi and English language.
For candidates appearing for the JEE Mains exam in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli exam centres, the exam paper will be in English, Hindi & Gujarati language.
Type of Questions: The questions will be Objective type questions.
