JoSAA 2021: Registration, Counselling, Seat Allotment Process

JoSAA 2021 will be conducted by the Joint Seat allocation authority. It conducts the counselling and seat allotment for admission in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 GFTIs based on the JEE Main or JEE Advanced 2021 score. During the counselling, Candidates will be giving two mock allotment rounds before the real allotment round for choosing the correct choice with a clear mind.   • JoSAA will conduct a total of seven rounds.

For B.Tech/B.E

  • Candidate must have a good rank in JEE Main Paper-I for admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

For B.Arch

For B.Plan

JoSAA Counselling Registration 2021

Candidates can follow the steps for registration of JoSAA that are mentioned below.

  • Registration:
    • Visit the JoSAA official website.
    • Click on “JoSAA 2021 Candidate registration and choice filling”.
    • Login using JEE Main/Advanced Application number and password.
    • Click on “Candidate’s profile” and check that all the details are correct.
    • Candidates can only change the contact details if required.
    • At last, Click on the “Submit” button.
  • Filling the Choices:
    • After registration, candidates have to fill their choice of colleges and courses.
    • Candidates have to fill the choices in order of their preference.
    • Candidates may click on “choices available” to choose their preference from the available list of colleges and courses.
    • Click on “Choice filling and Locking” and fill enough choices for better chances of getting a seat.
  • Locking the Choices:
    • After filling the choices, candidates have to lock their selected choices.
    • Candidates have to click on “I Agree to Lock my Choices”.
    • In case the candidate is not sure about the choices, click on “I will Lock my Choice Later”.
    • Finally, candidates may take a printout of Locked choices for further use.

Note:

  • Candidates who have qualified both- JEE Main and JEE Advanced will have all the choices available for them.
  • Candidates who have qualified only JEE Main exam will have restricted choices to programmes in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

  • Candidates will go through the two mock allotments before the actual JoSAA Seat allotment.
  • Through Mock Allotment, candidates can get help to select their choices according to their preference and better scope.
  • After the mock test, candidates will get clarity of their choices to be filled and modify it in the actual allotment.

JoSAA Seat Allotment 2021

The details regarding the JoSAA Seat allotment are given below:

  • After two mock allotments, JoSAA seat allotment will be held in seven rounds.
  • Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination i.e JEE Main or JEE Advanced 2021.
  • Candidates will also be allotted seats on the basis of their choices filled during registration.
  • The result can be checked on the official website of JoSAA using their login id and password.
  • After seat allotment, candidates have to pay the acceptance fee.
  • Once the acceptance fee is paid, candidates have to report to the allotted centre.

After Allotment of the seat, candidates can choose any of the following options to proceed further:

  1. Floating: Candidates can choose this option if they are satisfied with the allotted seat but are also open to upgradation to higher institutes or courses.
  2. Freezing: This option is for the candidates who are completely satisfied with the allotted seat and are not interested in participating in further rounds of counselling.
  3. Sliding: Candidates who choose this option will confirm their seat allotment but are open for admission in higher/preferred course in the same institute.

At last, all the candidates have to report to their allotted institute for confirming their seat.

DU Engineering 2021 Application Form

The Delhi University Engineering Entrance Exam 2021 application form for B.tech courses is common for all the B.Tech branches. And, it is applicable for all the colleges under Delhi University.

Important Point to Note for DU Engineering Admission 2021

Students passing the qualifying examination from Patrachar Vidyalaya, New Delhi / National Institute of Open School, New Delhi (NIOS), region deciding criteria shall be the location of his/her examination centre opted by the student.  Moreover, if the centre of examination is in the N.C.T. of Delhi, the candidate will be within Delhi Region.

Finally, the applicant shall be under the rest of Delhi region if the exam centre is geographically outside N.C.T. of Delhi.

TNEA 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for TNEA 2021, candidates must go through the given below eligibility criteria:

Nativity:

  • Candidates who passed their 12th level from schools located in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
  • Also the students who belong to other states and have completed their XII level from Tamil Nadu state can apply.
  • Candidates from outside Tamil Nadu need to show their Nativity Certificate only in the form of a digitally signed E-Certificate or Electronic Form.
  • Children of Central Government Employees are also eligible to apply.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Qualifying Exam: Applicants must have passed 12th level or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (For OBC – 45%; For ST/ SC/ DNC/ MBC/ SCA – 40%).

KLUEEE 2021 Exam Pattern Details

Koneru Lakshmaiah University Engineering Entrance Examination 2021 will consist of three papers.

  • The languages in which the paper will be available include English, Marathi, and Urdu.
  • And, Exam will occur in pen and paper mode as well as online mode over the duration of the period. Also, all the questions will be of objective type.
  • Then, each paper will be of 160 marks.

CCMT Application Form 2021 Cancellation and Refund

The registration fee for participation in CCMT 2021 is ₹ 2,200/- (OC/OB) and ₹ 1,700/- (for SC/ST/PWD), which is neither refundable nor adjustable towards any fee.
Paid fee (All another fee except Registration Fee) will be refunded after deduction of Rs 1,000/- by the CCMT Head Quarter in the following cases:

  • Seat Acceptance fee paid, but not reported at the RC as per CCMT schedule
  • Seat Acceptance fee paid, reported at the RC; but withdrawn/cancelled the seat at RC
  • Seat Acceptance and the Seat Confirmation fees paid, but physically not reported at the allotted institute (after 3rd round and first internal sliding) as per the CCMT schedule.
  • Registered for NSR, but not reported at the RC for document verification (before NSR seat allotment) as per the CCMT schedule.

CCMT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Admission through CCMT 2021 is granted only to those candidates who are eligible. It is important to check the eligibility criteria before moving ahead.

  • The candidates should have a valid GATE score of the year 2019/2020/2021.
  • Candidates should have secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or 60% for OC/OB candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates should have scored 6.0 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates, in the qualifying degree. The CGPA/Percentage should have been awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
  • If the result of the qualifying examination is yet to come, then provisional admission will be provided to the student if they meet the minimum requirements by September 2021. All Such Candidates should have completed their examination by July 2021.
  • Conversion from CGPA to the percentage or vice versa given by individual Institute/university will not be allowed.
  • Every programme will have their own special eligibility criteria.

The selected candidate has to report to the nearest reporting center for the purpose of DOCUMENT VERIFICATION.

Document verification certificate is issued to only those who were successful to submit the self-attested copy of these Documents.
