JEE Advanced 2017 Application Form

Firstly, the application form for JEE Advanced 2017 a second stage examination for aspirants seeking admission in IITs. The forms will be only for top 220000 qualified students of Jee Mains 2017. The Application will be released in April after the Mains result declaration in April.

Registration Process for JEE Advanced

In order to enrol for JEE Adv. exams the student must have qualified the JEE Main. But, this is the only imperative criteria as such. Also, the registration process will commence in April. Before applying, the candidates need to create their account online, register and after that fill the application form.

Joint Entrance Exam Advanced is among the most sought-after National Level Engineering Entrance Exams in India. And it is directed by the seven zonal IITs under the supervision of the Joint Admission Board (JAB).

Further, There are 2 papers in the exam and both are mandatory. Also, the online registration will begin in April. The JEE Advanced Exam date is fixed and it is in May. JEE Advanced 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Criteria 1: JEE Main 2017 Performance

Firstly, each candidate must appear and qualify JEE Main 2017 to be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced.

Criteria 2: Age Criteria

Also, applicants of General category must be born on or after October 1, 1993. However, there will be the exemption of 5 years age relaxation for PWD/SC/ST categorized student. Moreover, the DOB must fall on or after October 1, 1988, to qualify for JEE Advanced 2017.

Criteria 3: Number of Attempts in Joint Entrance Exam

Further, applicants are permitted to take JEE Advanced Exam for Maximum of 2 times in a row ONLY. Hence, the candidates who appeared in 2017 for the 1st time are also eligible.

Criteria 4: Educational Qualification

  • Finally, applicants must have attended class 12th or its equivalent board exam in the year 2017 or 2017.
  • Also, applicants whose class 12th or equivalent exam result (2015-2016) was issued after June 2016 can apply.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern

  • Firstly, there will be 2 papers in JEE Advanced each of 3-hour duration. Also, it is mandatory for shortlisted applicants to appear in both the papers. Further, it is very imperative for the candidates to appear in both papers of JEE Advance. 
  • Then, there is 54 question of 186 marks in both the papers.
  • Also, the three subjects are namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Moreover, the question paper will have MCQs and numerical type questions.
  • Also, Negative Marking is applicable for some questions.
  • Finally, the language of question paper is English and Hindi. Also, the candidates need to choose the preferred language at the time of registration.

Moreover, the admit card contains details such as Name, Exam Center Details paper name, signature, photograph, correspondence address, preferred language, and category etc. And, candidates must check the details carefully before downloading. Therefore, candidates should contact the concerned authorities if there is an error in the admit card. And, the applicants have to keep a copy of admit card till the admission process is over.

JEE Advanced 2017 Answer key

CBSE will upload JEE Advanced 2017 Answer key online in June 2017. And, the students can check their answer and match it with the correct response to calculate their score. Further, the candidates can also send the remarks on answer key in June 2017. Finally, the answer key provided by CBSE will be considered final.

JoSAA Counselling

Firstly, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the conducting body for the counselling process. Also, the counselling process is centralized in nature. Moreover, the successful candidates have to attend the counselling process for seat allotment and admission in IITs, ISM, NITs, and other Govt. Supported Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Finally, JoSAA will publish the calendar for the joint seat allotment allocation separately.

DAIICT or Dhirubhai Ambani Institute Of Information and Communication Technology is a technical university in Gandhinagar named after Dhirubhai Ambani, ex-chairman Reliance Foundation. Since its inauguration in 2001, it is regarded as one of the finest universities for information and communication engineering in India. DAIICT 2020 is conducted for the admission in the various course of DAIICT Gandhinagar.

DAIICT 2020 Admission

  • Selection Procedure and Number of Seats

The applications are available for the candidates of class 12 of science(PCM) branch with either cs, biology, electronics or any other fourth group subject. Aspirants who are born on or after 1st October 1994 are only eligible to apply for admissions. It is mandatory for aspiring students to appear for JEE Main 2020. As the admission is exclusively based on the performance in JEE Main. Every year around 300 seats are allotted for B.Tech Students and moreover, 30 Seats are Non-Residence in India(NRI).

The undergraduate courses are mainly provided in two of the major streams:-

    * B.Tech (Information and communication technology ICT)          — 240 seats

    * B.Tech (Honours in ICT with minor in Computational Science)  —    60 seats

Moreover, 50% of the total number of seats are reserved for students who have pursued their primary education in the schools of Gujarat state and these seats are filled by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. The remaining 50% of the seats for non-Gujarat Indian students are filled by direct admission through DAIICT 2020.

DAIICT 2020 Application Procedure:

Candidates are requested to collect the application form from any of the AXIS Bank branches or from the institute itself by paying an amount of 1000 INR. Students can request an application form to be sent via post by paying a DD of 1050 INR  in favour of institute payable at Gandhinagar.

Students can visit JEE Mains 2020 to know entire details of JEE Main appearing exam including details of syllabus, examination pattern etc.

Admission Procedure For Foreign Students

Admissions of foreign and NRI students, the non-Indian residential students, foreign nationality students and students in abroad of Indian origin will get the offer through a separate channel called “DIRECT ADMISSION FOR FOREIGN AND NRI STUDENTS”(DAFS) and one can download the application form from the link. The application forms are available to download from 1st week of April 2020.

Eligibility Criteria Under DAFS Scheme DAIICT 2020 

  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian origin card holders (PIO)
  • Passport of an applicant indicating that he/she is not an Indian nationality.
  • Either of parents of the applicants residing abroad indicating that he/she is a non-Indian resident. Proof-like overseas bank passbook is accepted.
  • Candidates need to submit the non-resident Indian Certificate issued by Indian Embassy or Indian Consulate of the country where he/she is residing.
  1. Selection Process For NRI Students

The admission for the NRI or foreign students under DAFS procedure is purely on the basis of candidates’ performance in class 12 or any other equivalent. And also student’s performance in level A SAT subjective or aptitude test.

Eligibility Criteria For M.Tech Program
A candidate should have qualifying degree with not less than 60% in any one of the following:
B.E./B.Tech. Degree in ICT or allied disciplines such as CS/IT/EE/EC/IN/ICT
M.Sc degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Mathematics/Physics/Statistics
M.S/M.Sc degree of DA-IICT
MCA degree (3-year program)
The aggregate marks in the qualifying Degree should not be less than 60% or equivalent as per the norms set by the Degree awarding Institute/University.

For M.Tech Program: The merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of the GATE score of the candidates. Short listing criterion is based on candidate’s GATE score only

3)   Candidates who receive admission offers must appear for document verification and registration for admission process.

At the time of reporting for counselling, the candidate should produce the original certificates/documents for verification as mentioned at DAIICT website. If the candidate fails to produce all or any of these certificates/documents, his/her admission shall stand forfeited instantly.

Only the candidate and one member of his/her parent/guardian shall be allowed into the counselling venue. The selection of the candidates according to the order of their rank in the merit list.

The admitted candidate need to pay the first semester fees of Rs.97,200/-  (minus the amount paid to  ACPC) at the time of counselling in Cash or through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘DA-IICT’  payable at Ahmedabad. In case the candidate fails to pay the full fees, he/she will not get the admission. The payment of the fee against the offer of this admission is not refundable.

Exam Pattern DAIICT B.Tech Admissions 2020:

The exam pattern refers the complete information regarding the question paper. Relevant details like time duration, a number of questions, marking scheme and the types of questions associated with the exam pattern. As the admissions are on the basis of the JEE Main, therefore, the exam pattern of the same is mentioned here.

  • The exam will take place only computer-based format.
  • Each question consists of 4 marks.
  • 1 mark will get deduct for an incorrect response.
  •  The students will get 180 minutes or 3 hours to solve the exam.
  • The DAIICT 2020 entrance exam will be in the English only.
  • The paper 1 comprises of 90 questions hence the total marks for the exam is 360 marks.

Scholarships

The Institute awards scholarships to deserving students of the B Tech (ICT) program. There are two categories of scholarships:

1)Merit Scholarship

2) Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

Scholarships of an amount equal to the tuition fee (Rs. 30,000/- per semester) for the duration of the program (eight semesters only) are awarded for each category.
Selection of Scholarship Winners: Selection of scholarship awardees will be on the basis of the performance in the admission test, which is JEE Main 2020. Selection criteria are as follows:

  • Merit Scholarship:  Provision of Scholarship for those candidates who take admission in this program with an All India Rank better than 5000. In case such candidates are less than five, the remaining scholarships (five minus the awarded) will transform to Merit-cum-Means category.
  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Five students with the highest All India Ranks in AIEEE who take admission in the program will get the scholarship, subject to a means test. In order to be eligible for this category of scholarship, the annual income of the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s) should not exceed Rs. 250,000/- per annum. Awardees need to submit suitable documents in proof of the above every year.

JAYPEE 2018 Answer Key

JAYPEE 2020 Answer Key: JAYPEE 2020 is an entrance examination which offers admission to the engineering aspirants in the institutes of Noida, Guha, and Wakanghat and is conducted by JIIT, Noida every year. JIIT was established in 2001 and today it is ranked amongst the top 10 engineering colleges in Delhi, NCR. The streams offered include Electronics and communication, Computer Science, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, and Bio-Technology. The numbers of intakes depend on the number of seats available in each stream which varies in all the institutes and must be thoroughly checked before applying for admission.

JAYPEE 2020 Answer Key

JIIT Noida offers Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology and Bio-Technology with an intake of 240, 300, 60, and 60. JUIT, Wakanghat offers Electronics and communication, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Civil engineering with an intake of 160, 160, 30 and 30. JUET, Guna offers Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical and Chemical engineering with an intake of 160, 160, 120, 120 and 60.

However, JUET, Guna has proposed admission to the candidates directly to the second year of engineering based on the score of the student in the entrance examination conducted by the institution.

Soon after the entrance examination takes place, the results are declared on the official website as well as on the website of EntranceZone so that the candidates can go through the answers, match their answers and estimate their marks.

Different papers will appear for different streams which are why the paper will be divided into 3 sections. An answer key of all the sets will be published on the official website so that the candidates can cross-check their answers. Section A consists of physics and mathematics, section B consists of Computer, programming and basic data structures and Basic electric and electronic circuits and section C consists of Engineering Mechanics, workshop practice, engineering graphics and engineering chemistry.

The selection of the candidates is carried out on the basis of the score and rank. The candidate needs to score above the minimum cutoff score that has been decided by the examination authority. The rank will be allotted to the selected candidates only.

Bhagwant University Admission Procedure

  • Candidates should have passed the class +2/12/Any equivalent qualifying exam to be eligible for admissions. They must have obtained at least 60% in class 12.

  • Candidates appearing for class 12 examination in 2017 are also eligible.

  • Those seeking admissions into B.Tech/BE in Biotechnology need to pass class +2/12th class or any equivalent qualifying exam with a minimum of 60% average marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

  • The passing year of the qualifying examination should be in 2016 or 2017.

  •  For BBA, B.Com the students must score at least 50 per cent aggregate in commerce or humanities streams.

Documents Required

The candidates need to bring the following Original Certificates with two sets each of photocopies.

  1. 10th class or SSLC original pass certificate or marks card.

  2. 10+2 /class 12 Intermediate marks statement and Pass Certificate.

  3. Provisional Certificate and each semester mark statements of the bachelor degree for admission to M.Tech programs.

  4. Transfer, Study and Conduct Certificates.

  5. Integrated Community Certificate in case of Scheduled Caste/ST

  6. Medical Certificate is mandatory from not below the rank or designation of a Civil Surgeon in case of PwD Candidates.

JEE Main Rank List 2019: Counselling by JoSAA and CSAB

JEE Main Rank List 2019 – Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main Examination in April (via offline mode and online mode) can check JEE Main 2019 Rank List in April 2019. Only after the National Testing Agency (NTA) announces the same.  The Rank list of JEE Main 2019 for Paper 2 will get declare on 27 May 2019.
