  • Vast Syllabus: Syllabus for VITEEE is huge, covers more than 100 chapters. The candidate needs a specific schedule and should give sufficient time to all the portions.
  • Syllabus: Questions are almost always asked about the basic concepts taught in NCERT books. Candidates are advised to practice them thoroughly. Mathematics questions need practice, thus candidates should solve all the questions taught in NCERT Mathematics and should be well prepared for the exams.
  • Revision: Candidate should take notes of the concepts they read. This can be used for revision. Revision of such notes should be frequent so as to remain in touch with all the key concepts of a topic.
  • No negative marking: There is no negative marking in VITEEE 2021 and thus, candidates can attempt all the question in the exam. They should practice the techniques of eliminating wrong answers and taking a calculated guess in the examinations.
  • Speed and Accuracy: Candidates will have to solve 125 questions in 150 minutes. This requires speed and precision. Though there is no negative marking, as VITEEE is based on the relative performance of the students, candidates would not like to lose marks on a question they can solve.
  • Chemistry: Chemistry is a subject where the candidates will have to memorise a lot of Chemical Equations, Properties of Compounds, etc. They should thus revise Chemistry frequently and have a thorough in-depth revision just before the examination. Questions can be directly from the book.
  • Know the Exam Pattern: Candidates should solve last year’s paper and get familiar with the type and style of questions. There will be 40 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 5 questions from English. They should also check for the topics which are more important from the examination point of view and give more emphasis on those topics.
  • Don’t Panic: Candidates should work sincerely according to the timetable they made and should not panic towards the end. It is very important to remain calm and try to enhance efficiency towards the end. Candidates should practice being in exam-like conditions. They should read for around 3 hours without any breaks. This will enhance their efficiency during the examinations.
  • Reference Books: Syllabus for VITEEE is similar to that of other national levels examination such as JEE Main and BITSAT. Thus candidates can use reference books used for those exams such as H.C. Verma and R.D. Sharma for a detailed understanding of any concept.

  • The exam shall conduct via offline mode only i.e there will be the provision of OMR sheet.
  • For which a candidate should use either a blue or black ballpoint pen only.
  • Questions will be objective only. There will be four options for each question. The Question paper shall be in two categories i.e Category-1 and Category-2.
  • There will be negative marking also. For each wrong answer, the candidate will lose 1/4 marks from Category-1. And from Category-2, each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1/2 (half marks).

JEXPO and VOCLET 2021: JEXPO (Joint Entrance Examination-Polytechnic) & VOCLET (Vocational Lateral Entry Examination) 2021 Examination is scheduled for tentatively July 2021. The candidates can apply until 30 June 2021. West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WEBSCTE) is a statutory body function under the Department of Technical Education and Training. West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development conducts JEXPO for first-year admission and VOCLET for second-year lateral entry admission in polytechnic and Engineering Diploma courses in West Bengal. Odisha JEE 2021 will be conducted for admission into Engineering, Medical and Management courses in the state. Candidates should be careful and know all the required eligibility criteria before applying for Odisha JEE. The candidate seeking admission into B.Tech./BAMS/ B. Pharm /BBA/ MBA etc. courses in Odisha can apply for Odisha Joint Entrance 2021 until 15 June 2021. Candidates must read the OJEE Information Brochure for complete details regarding the Eligibility Criteria. The OJEE Chairman notified the new change in the admission procedure. Now OJEE will follow JEE Main Scores for admission into Engineering Courses in State. This article provides the basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech program through OJEE 2021.

BAMS and BHMS 50% 40% Passed 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
B Planning 45% 40% Passed 3-years diploma in appropriate branch of engineering/technology
B.Pharma 45% 40% 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and any one (Mathematics, Biology, BioTech, Technical Vocational Subject, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Geology)
LE B.Tech 45% 40% Passed 3-years diploma in appropriate branch of engineering/technology.

M Pharm, candidates must be passed or appearing in a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy

For M.Plan, candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree in Geography, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Environmental Science, Anthropology, Social works with specialisation in Community Development as well as Rural Development.
