WBJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria is set by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission to Engineering/Pharmacy Courses. And the Exam is conducted for admissions into various Engineering as well as Medical colleges in the State. And the list of colleges includes Government as well as private colleges. The exam will take place in an Offline mode/Pen-Paper mode on 11 July 2021. Before applying for the exam, the candidate must ensure that he/she satisfies the eligibility criteria as defined by the Board. If the selected candidate is found ineligible, they will have to face cancellation and will not receive their fee back.

WBJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria as set by the board include Citizenship, Age limit, Domicile/Resident requirement and some Academic requirements as given below-

  • Every candidate appearing for the exam must be an Indian citizen.
  • To appear for the exam, the candidate must be at least 17 years old, there is no limit on the upper age.
  • For Marine Engineering aspirants, the lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years. These age limits are must for the same as these are set by the admission Authorities.
  • Under the Domicile/Resident requirement, some mandatory documents will be available on the official website of the examination.
  • According to Calcutta University and Jadavpur University, the candidate must have passed class 12 exam from a Recognized Board including West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. And must pass the subjects including physics, chemistry, and Mathematics individually and score at least 60% for the General category. And 55% otherwise along with 30% in English to qualify for sitting for the exam.

WBJEEB 2021 Academic Qualification

The candidate must have done their 10+2 Examination with Physics and Maths along with any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as compulsory subject with individual passing marks (theory & practical) in all 3 subjects mentioned above.

Some Further Information pertaining to WBJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

  • For all the other colleges and the Department of jute technology, the candidates need to pass in Physics and Mathematics compulsorily along with one subject out of Biology, Biotechnology, and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks for the General category and 40% marks for the others. In addition to this, the candidate needs to score a minimum of 30% in English.
  • Candidates who apply for Marine Engineering need to score 60% marks in PCM and pass all the three subjects individually. In addition to this, the candidate must have scored 50% in English in Class 10 and 12.

WBJEE 2021 Reservation Criteria

  • The gateway to the Entrance for the students at Jadavpur University is purely on the basis of merit rank one has secured in the entrance test.
  • Candidates belonging to UP/Bihar are also studying at Jadavpur University among others, same goes for Calcutta University.
  • but,  Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category have to sit as the General candidate if they don’t have the Domicile of the State.
  • Also, the Government colleges in West Bengal except JU and CU does not take students from other states.

The Qualification Criteria for Admission into various courses at Vellore Institute of Technology through VITEEE 2021 is as follows.

Nationality:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • A non-resident of India has to provide additional supporting certificates for admission.

  • Class 10+2 conducted by State Board/ CBSE/ ICSE.
  • The average marks in the subjects like PCM or PCB in 12th class (or its equivalent) aggregated together must be at least 60%.
  • 10% concession in marks is given to Reserved Category candidates.

Applicants from SC/ST Category:

Applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North-Eastern conditions of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura needs Identification proofs TO PROVE Nationality.

Candidates, unable to provide the documents won’t be considered for admission to the University.

Also, applicants who have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the Board level, are qualified for all the B.Tech. Programs.

Age Limit:

The University will consider the Date Of Birth as recorded in the High School/DOB Certificate as valid. Also, applicants have to provide given certificates in original form as proof of their age at the time of counselling.

And, KEA held this Karnataka Common Entrance Test for candidates willing to enrol in the engineering courses like B.tech or B.E in the college of the state of Karnataka. Before filling the application form candidates must ensure the eligibility requirements for Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2021.

KCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The application form will be made available tentatively in the month of July 2021. KCET exam will be held on 28, 29, and 30 August 2021.

  • Applicants who are eligible for Karnataka common entrance test can fill the KCET online application form.
  • The eligibility criteria for Applicants who have passed the 10+2 level or equivalent exam to see if they qualified to apply for the test.
  • Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent

  • However, all questions will be of objective type. Also, one of the four options will hold the right answer.
  • The duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

  • For each question, 01 marks are awarded. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers

WBJEE 2021 Exam Pattern has been released. WBJEE is an entrance examination that takes place every year for Engineering as well as Medical aspirants. It is a means of getting admission in some of the prestigious private as well as government institutes of West Bengal. Also, it occurs in the offline mode and is usually a pen and paper mode exam. WBJEE exam pattern is comprised of 3 sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will be two slots in one day where Physics and Chemistry will be held in first slot and Mathematics will be held in the second slot. The exam is scheduled to be held on 11 July 2021.

  • In Category-1:
    • Only one option will be the correct answer to a, particularly given the question.
    • For every correct answer, the candidate will get 1 mark and for every incorrect answer, the candidate will lose the ¼ mark.
  • In Category-2:
    • one of the options will be correct, the candidate will score 2 marks for every correct answer and every incorrect answer will result in the deduction of ½ mark.
  • In Category-3:
    • more than one option can be correct and the candidate will get 2 marks for every correct answer. But, in addition to this, in category 3, the marks are according to the (2X number of correct answers).

SRMJEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

SRMJEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria is set by SRM University for all the courses. Candidates must check the eligibility requirements before filling the application form. The last date to apply for Phase 2 is 20 July 2021. Candidates must be Indian citizens. NRI/PIO/OCI candidates are also eligible to apply. Applying candidates must have passed their class 12th exam with at least 50% in PCM. One should have passed the exams in not more than 2 attempts including an appearance for improvement.

SRMJEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The SRMJEEE 2021 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA can be summarized into following sub-criteria that are:

NATIONALITY: 

  • The applicant must be a resident of India.
  • NRI, PIO, OCI are also eligible.

SRM University Admission Qualification

  • Admission to B.Tech program and all other courses require the candidate to have a minimum 60% aggregate.
  • The candidates who have taken the exam must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in their 10+2.
  • For admission in Biotechnology, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, and genetic engineering disciplines of B.Tech.
  • Age- The candidate must be a minimum of 17 years of age while applying for it.

SRM University Eligibility Criteria

  •  It is the responsibility of the candidate to check whether they fulfil the eligibility criteria or not.
  • The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology as an important subject from all the options on the board.
  • Candidates should carry their original documents. while visiting the Institute for final admissions.
  • In addition to these documents, the hall ticket is required in print. The printout of the hall ticket can be taken from the official website of SRM University.
  • For the M.Tech Courses: Candidates who wish to apply for the M.Tech courses have to check the course-specific eligibility that is certainly different for all the courses. A basic degree or equivalent in the course-specific subject with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
