Career Point University Admission Procedure (CPU 2019)

• Aspirants can get the Application form by requesting over the phone or personally visiting the campus.

• Students will have to pay an admission fee of Rs. 750 for the same.

• Candidates can also apply online. Such students will have to pay the application fees online.

• Students will have to appear for career point Merit Examination and selection takes place on the basis of the counseling process and eligibility criteria.

Slot Booking: Admission at Shiv Nadar University Greater Noida

The students applying for admission at SNU needs to book their slot and then schedule for SNUSAT and APT. Candidates must note that the availability of SNUSAT and APT examination slots at each of the center venues will be subject to their seat availability. Therefore it is highly advisable that the students must schedule their SNUSAT and APT exam at the earliest possible date to get the slot of their own choice.

Scholarships:

Shiv Nadar University Greater Noida / SNU offers various generous scholarships covering a part or full expenses of its students enrolled in different Undergraduate programs. This University mainly gives three (3) scholarships to its students covering the amount tuition fee which are as follows:

Scholarship B – Rs. 6,58,000

Scholarship C – Rs. 4,70,000

Students are automatically allotted to a particular Scholarship band (A, B,C,D,E,F, G, H which are solely based on their program preference) when they take admission to SNU. This scholarship is totally based on their Class XII board exam marks.

Students must take note of the fact that only the XII marks are taken into account for this while checking the eligibility for a scholarship band. SNUSAT+APT scores do not alter anything in this matter of scholarships.

It should also be noted that once a student takes admission into Shiv Nadar University SNU, the scholarship band under which he/she is assigned at the time of his/her admission will remain final and fixed till the time he/she will graduate. This implies that if a student with scholarships performs better or worse during the course of study, their scholarship band will remain unchanged and won’t be subject to any up gradation or degradation.

Abhilashi University Admission Process

Candidates who wish to apply for admission in Abhilashi University will have to qualify JEE Main 2017. Application form for the same will be available on JEE Main Website. Students can fill the form online, or download the application form and fill offline. Students filling the form will have to upload their photograph, fill in the relevant details regarding qualifying examination.  One should do payment via online mode, or offline mode (Demand Draft).

Once the student gets his JEE Main Score, he can apply for admission in Abhilashi University. He/ She will have to fill the application form. How to decide an engineering college and branch after 12th?

Branch is important or not?

Branch is not all that important!

This is ill-advised. And the myth starts with if the student is studying in a good college, all branches have “good scope”.

If you study in a substandard college, a good branch is not going to help you. Also, so-called “good” branches are over-crowded, because everybody is getting into that field.

Nobody truly knows which branch will have the “good scope” after 10 years from now.

After completing engineering Changing of field is very common.

Sometimes the student interested field is irrelevant.

This is real confusion. 12th appearing candidates tells me – “He is more interested in Computers and doesn’t like Mechanical.” Honestly, in 12th class, Students have no clue what any specific field involves in.

College Matters or Not?

It’s in fashion to say the college doesn’t matter. And it is very common to give examples of candidates from substandard colleges who is successful in professional life. But that’s unsound logic. Students who got placement in spite of being in an unfavourable college, are probably getting placed in spite of the college, not because of the college. And probably would have done better if the student had been admitted to a better college.

City Matters or Not?

Yes, the city always matters. So, doing a degree in Chandigarh or Delhi NCR, is, in my opinion, clearly better than doing it in a college in Hisar.

Engineering vs other fields of studies

Frankly, It’s very difficult to question and to give advice on whether one should do Engineering or something else.

What are the Major Courses Available After 12th Class: The actual journey of the career starts after 12th so it becomes a mandatory action to choose a concrete career plan for the future. Until 12th one has to do research about their likings and make an actionable and reasonable plan for further education. Let us see the scope of every stream included in our education system.

Starting with science. Science is nowadays the most opted field over India. There are numerous options available to this stream. One gets the option of engineering, medical, research and development etc. Science becomes a reasonable option from the point of view of demand in the increasing automobile and IT sector. It offers great opportunities abroad too.

Talking of the commerce field, nowadays only being a commerce graduate is hardly beneficial. So one who has an interest in the commerce field can choose a professional course like Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary, Cost Accountant etc. along with the basic graduation. Those who wish to do only the basic graduation can also do MBA in Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing etc. The law can prove to be a sensible option for those who interest themselves in law.

The third stream in our system is Arts. It offers a variety of sub-streams in the field of languages, literature, history, mathematics, economics, politics, psychology etc. One can choose a course dependent upon their liking and complete their masters in India or abroad also.

In today’s cut-throat competition, there is not much value left for just one degree and qualification. So it I always better to combine one main qualification with a supportive degree. MBA can always be a good option from this perspective. For students who wish to study and settle abroad, learning foreign languages with the main course can prove to be economical. Globalization is bringing the cultural as well as the economic exchange in the world. This has opened up many career opportunities.

It thus becomes the job of this generation to make optimum use of this opportunity and contribute to the development of our country.
